Friend,

Drugs, and I include marijuana and alcohol in that appellation, are so destructive. It is truly gut wrenching to watch people destroy themselves and their communities with such cheap sins.

Yours,

That narcan hits a person who is out and it’s like turning a light switch on.

They just magically come back.

Why administer the Narcan? Just let them die.

Could you imagine having this shite posted on Facebook if it were you?

I'm not criticizing you or anyone else that posted it. It may save a life. I've never done heroin or even seen the shite before so I don't have any insight into any of what the frick is going on in that video, but I've sure as hell woke up from some drunken blackouts that I would be mortified to see on Facebook or TD.

I hope they both get some help before they end up up dead, which seems to be not far off at all.

That was hard to watch. At first I couldn’t figure out if the guy at the front of the car got run over, but then I realized he was just fricked out of his mind. Then I saw the shoe under the car and thought someone was underneath it. The ol baw filming though.. that shite was fiyah huh?

I admit that I have a hard time feeling sympathy here. Perhaps that is a bad flaw. Was this life worth "saving"?

I'm surprised they let his 'friend' just jump around like that. Seems like someone would have been trying to talk him into sitting the frick down. I bet the cops shut that down quick once they arrived.

Dude starting IVs with no gloves... Like a Boss!!!

That's on the corner of Gause and Military Rd...

Those two trashy mother frickers probably live on the other side the interstate...

I am sure you know an opiate/stimulate mix while giving an intense high allows the stimulate to mask the signs of opiate overdose. Speedballs are a big cause of OD.

At the last brewery where I worked, all of the managers (of which I was one) were required to be trained in the administration of Narcan. The Narcan that we had on hand was actually provided by the city.

Of course, the opiod crisis is pretty bad up here, but I thought it was so crazy that it was required training for someone working IN A TAPROOM.

Luckily, I never had to use it.

Heroin and fentanyl kill more people in a day than covid does.
Mostly people under 30.
Most of the public has no idea of what happens to the addicted. I didn't until it took my 25 year old granddaughters life. She was beautiful and well educated and fought addiction for 7 years. If you have never seen this up close you cant possibly understand. I will feel her pain the rest of my life.

yeah, but beware... it also irreversibly binds to the mu receptor (the receptor that opiates work on in the brain), displacing any and all opiate from those receptors, and IMMEDIATELY puts them in withdrawals, so they may be alive, but they will be hell to deal with because the are gonna be dopesick.... and if you've ever dealt with a dopesick person, you know it ain't all that fun... not saying you should NOT use Narcan to revive people, just know what it is that you are going to be dealing with when using it...

You are completely correct. The emotional pain involved is horrible. I just shake my head when people with no experience in this area express their "knowledge".
