Local HS athletes have to wear masks at workouts outdoors

With as hot as it's been in South Louisiana what's the worst that can happen.. These fricking useless politicians I swear

wow that should be fun trying run around in . You cant have people practice especially in football and expect them to wear a shield or mask with a helment. People will be passing out especially in the deep south. It doesnt become a question of covid it becomes a case for heat stroke.

I wore a mask to a doctor's appointment the other day, had it on for all of two minutes and I was over it. Feeling my hot breath on my face in 100 degree weather was miserable. No fricking way I'd be wearing one while practicing outside for 2 hours.

Also, I saw a sign on a local restaurant that said, "if dining in, must wear a mask at all times" - the brilliant minds of the OT are gonna have to explain that one to me

Whoever suggested that has never played football. A lot of these kids have been sitting around the house doing nothing all summer. Heat strokes will be more of a problem than covid.

I guess just pull it down so it isn’t covering your mouth/nose and pull it back up if any of the red tape checkers come around. Such bs

Haven’t seen them worn outside at all after entrance.. they do wear them when working out indoors..

It's time just to nuke this whole fricking world and cancel life.

I'm no doctor, but that sounds like a way bigger health risk than MAYBE catching COVID bc you didn't wear a mask...this is a clown show at this point.
