I'm hoping this moves all the fed court districts to move to telephonic hearings for non-contested/minuscule bullshite.

That’s not what the “shelter in place” factoid JBE sent out earlier said.

He said you could still go to work, the grocery, doctor and pharmacy.

Those are all essential life sustaining businesses (if your work is essential).

Restaurants would remain open like they are, so would grocery stores, so would the pharmacy, so would O&G, so would Fed Ex, etc

It’s not a complete lockdown, but it’s more restrictive than we have now.

Have heard so much BS it's hard to place what I heard where, but I did hear that any violation by an individual would be a misdemeanor and a business would face a civil fine. I work at a local private country club & I can see it shutting down to avoid such fine.

Literally zero reason to announce a “shelter in place” if it is actually no different than what’s currently in place.

The vast majority of politicians are starving for attention and power. Nothing satiates them. They starve for it.

They’re all giddy right now that they get to feel important and give press conferences and make decrees and whatever else. It’s sick.

Pretty nuts Illinois has 580 case, Louisiana has 479 cases. Illinois’ population is 2.5 greater than LA

In order to have a case, you have to have been tested, the number of test are about the same for both states.

Louisiana has results from 1047 test,

Illinois only 2,052 people had been tested for coronavirus across the state, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. 900 of those tested were recent and results are still pending.

No need for CPA's.

I have plenty of clients who could use their refund right now rather than in July. I had 7 calls just today asking for help with the SBA loan application. Plenty more want help translating the latest bill regarding employees.

Sure, we are not essential in the fact that it’s not life sustaining, but I would say we are pretty damn essential in the current climate.

Honestly I support decimation at this point, just shoot every 10th Louisiana citizen.

That's pretty much Orleans and Jefferson Parish.

ETA: Orleans OR Jefferson Parish. I underestimated. Pick one.

I’m walking in high cotton.

I’m medical and work in the field. My field visits have been restricted to dire needs only and I’m salary.

It’s gonna get shitty for me eventually but it’s not a bad gig right now.

So we haven't even seen the results of social distancing yet and you think they are going to wait another 10-12 days before they knee jerk some more?
