I get that back in the day, coaches also used to play in the games, but come on. This is easily the most retarded tradition in all of sports.

Imagine if Andy Reid came out in shoulder pads and a helmet (admittedly this would be hilarious) or if Doc Rivers came out in a sleeveless shirt, shorts and a shooting sleeve/headband. It's fricking stupid.

Other stupid traditions in baseball: jumping over the baseline and the seventh inning stretch.

Any other dumb arse sports traditions you can think of?

How stupid does this look?

Also, Wtf is this shite in baseball? Why not just hold up the pointer finger and middle finger like a normal person?

Basketball coaches in poorly fitting suits has always confused me - they should just dress like football coaches

Pitchers getting all pissed off and starting fights when someone hits a homerun off of them.

I'd pay money to see Saban do this for a game

I kinda like the tradition. It's unique to baseball.

In fact, I find the coaches wearing suits thing kinda odd in 2020.

I was going to say, I sort of miss the days of football coaches wearing suits rather than "coaches' gear."

It’s called tradition. It’s part of a game that you obviously don’t like, so do yourself a favor and don’t watch.

I have never once watched a baseball game and cared that the manager wears a uniform. It's baseball.. That's what they do...
