It's an unwritten rule

Dumb is what it is. Can you imagine a QB trying to retaliate on a DB for celebrating a pick 6?

This is the gayest thread I've seen on here. A bunch of dudes arguing about what they like to see coaches wear.

The elephant in the room... Tommy Lasorda is still alive at age 92 and here I am at age 41 having panic attacks about dying.

A lot of baseball managers wear a jacket. The only difference in that case between how a baseball coach dresses and a football coach is instead of wearing white long baseball pants they wear long khaki pants. That’s really the only difference. So no, it would be much sillier for a football coach to wear football pads and a helmet or a basketball coach to wear a tank top basketball uniform.

The only difference between a football coach and a baseball manager is many cases is the pants.

I don’t know why, but it annoys me when everyone holds up four fingers at the end of the third quarter at football games. Drives me nuts.

It's because in baseball, the coaches are allowed to enter the field of play while the game is live. They have to wear the team uniform. In basketball, football, and hockey, the coach is not allowed on the field of play while the game is live. Just because the coaches don't get penalized if they step out doesn't mean they're allowed to do it. In football, coaches are not allowed to even be in the white border of the field when the ball is live. That's for officials and sideline crews and coaches will draw penalties for being in the white border and impeding an official or the chain gang. If you don't believe me, look up the function of a "get back" coach. Baseball coaches (mainly the coaches tasked at first and third) are not only allowed in the field of play when the ball is live, but are out there for extended periods of time.

Also, you're a retard.

I sort of miss the days of football coaches wearing suits rather than "coaches' gear."

Hank Steam and Tom Landry were the best dressed coaches ever.

You're clearly too stupid to understand what's going on. Time to move to another thread.
