A baseball uniform is literally pants with a button down. It's far less ridiculous than a full football, basketball, or hockey uniform.

Coaches really don't even wear a regular baseball jersey anymore

IIRC John Havlicek was a player-coach for the Celtics.

Allowing sports writers/computers/committee to decide who gets to play for a title.

I thought they were required to. Didn't Francona get in trouble because he wasn't wearing the Jersey under his pullover?

In fact, I find the coaches wearing suits thing kinda odd in 2020.

I’d rather them wear suits than the shite Bellichiek wears.

You are conflating a uniform with equipment. Baseball managers don't wear equipment.

That makes sense. Fat fricks with grey hair and a beer gut wearing the uniform as if they could jump in and play some shortstop at any moment is just retarded though.

GeauxxxTigers23, I highly doubt you would have the wherewithal nor the balls to say that to whitetiger1234’s face.

Yeah, I'm trying to think of the last time I saw CPM in a baseball jersey. He just wears that pullover.

Other baseball coaches are starting to do this.

In the world series, I specifically remember both managers wearing sweatshirts.

Red Sox manager Terry Francona was peeved this morning that a (major league baseball) security person made him show that he was wearing his uniform top in the second inning of Wednesday night’s game with Derek Jeter at second base.

I get that back in the day, coaches also used to play in the games

Its also because they go on to the field, to talk with players, change pitchers, argue calls...

It would be interesting to see a football coaches have to go out on the field and take the ball from the QB, if he wanted to bench him.
