Morey playing a little chess here.. Keep bringing up the refs over and over and they'll either have to (a) send Harden to the line 40 times in Game 2, or (b) listen to more crying and moaning until they do A

It's salty that it comes out now. Superstars get better treatment, and you can argue the Warriors have more than any other team. Is it bullshite? Yes. Are the Warriors annoying as hell? Yes. frick the Rockets? Yes.

Ref incorrect calls in final 2 minutes of #Rockets -Warriors Game 1:
-Curry should've been called for foul on Harden at 1:10 mark (would've been his 6th foul)
-Thompson traveled at 0:51 mark, wasn't called
-Curry fouled Gordon at 5.6, not called. CP3 gets a T as a result

Seems apt to post this

Did they mention anything from the first half?

I don’t think they do the review on the whole game. Just came across last 2 minutes report on twitter.
Allegedly the officials told Dantoni at half they missed 3 calls on 3 pt shots.

Which is why I was wondering. Curious if it was legit or not.

Funny how folks would rather keep their heads in the sand than see the reality that is the Warriors getting favorable playoff officiating for years now. Do i like the Rockets' approach? No, but i wouldn't be blind to the egregious no-calls even if i was a Spurs or Mavs fan.

The T is besides the point, they missed a call that they shouldn’t have.

When pelicans fans bitched about it all last year, all we got was boohoo and laughter.
Welcome to the bullshite of golden state
Yal should be used to it by now.

It doesn’t bother me that much. I didn’t think the game was that unfairly called. The majority of basketball games have weird stretches where one team gets calls over the other.

Meanwhile, James Harden's over here like

They're used to getting the benefit of the refs for 82 games. It's tough when Harden isn't getting bailout calls all game.

Players choice for their league MVP three of five years. Clearly his peers don’t think he is reliant on “bailout calls”.

All of you people dissing the rockets or Harden for “their brand” are missing the point. The league has self reported missing 3 fouls in the final 2 minutes that all went in GSW’s favor yesterday. And the refs self reported missing the landing zone foul multiple times by halftime. I’m sure there were calls missed against GSW, but no one has self reported any so who knows the quantity.
I am a rockets, saints and sports fan in general, but it is increasingly difficult to spend money on these leagues when the integrity is horseshite.
How many of you bet on sports? The Wizards owner is one of the most outspoken about legalizing gambling inside his stadium during games. But if an owner speaks out about refs, he gets hit with a fine (see nets in first round). The whole thing is a terrible look for the nba and pro sports in general. At least the rockets front office has the stones to put out numbers based arguments. Is it self serving? Probably. But maybe it helps fix an integrity problem.
I think all anyone can/should ask for is consistency. If Harden got the calls for 82 games, why shouldn’t he expect them against GSW? Gobert even tweeted that the Jazz couldn’t make close out plays in the first round like GSW did yesterday.

We don't blame the refs tho Bubba. Only low iq fans do. D'antoni only politic. Oh wait.....

No they didn’t. What most likely happened is that Golden State sent in tape of Harden getting some foul calls on his step back that were flops, and told them to watch for it.
And the refs swallowed their whistles in game 1 even though several times he was legitimately fouled.
What it looked like to me was the moment was too big for the refs last night. They had 3 very late whistles in one quarter and others throughout the game. You’ll see less than one late whistle a night during a regular season NBA game on average. They also had no idea how to call Harden because of the amount of acting and contact creation he uses. GSW took advantage of officials that shouldn’t be reffing what could essentially be the NBA Finals by making the refs decide if it’s a flop or not. That’s not an easy task to accomplish, and it was half-genius, half-dirty.
I’m just glad this is starting to come to a head a bit finally. Silver’s excuses on the declining ratings throughout the season show such a willful ignorance. Disliking the aesthetics of the NBA product is finally a reasonable opinion.
It’s just really, really frustrating to see this collection of talent in the league lose ratings. You’re fricking up NBA. They have FOUR teams out East that could legitimately beat this GSW team (comprised of two MVPs and 2 more All Stars) instead of half a team a year ago(basically can lebron drag a bunch of crap past GSW).
That’s not because GSW got a lot worse. That’s what happens when you add legitimate stars to a conference already on the upswing.
The NBA simply is not even close to optimizing the skill level of play right now.
