The irony here is top tier.
I’ve been alive 33 years and have never seen a more petty organization

So which is it champ? Do they have a legitimate gripe or not?

They do have a gripe vs Golden State.

...and every other team in the NBA has a gripe vs Golden State AND Houston.

I'll just say this. I'm fairly certain this was put out in the way it was to try to influence reffing for the remainder of the series.

The Rockets are trying to flip some of those calls by publicizing their beef. Nothing more, nothing less.

I hate the mavs, but at least they won and lost with class. The rockets are an embarrassment to the State of Texas.

All teams complain to the league about the refs behind the scenes and send video to the league office.

It seems the Rockets have taken a slightly different approach where they are trying to prove their case through extensive data rather than some video clips.

So, if Game 7 shows the Rockets should have had 18 more points, maybe the Warriors report shows the Warriors should have had 20 more points, or 16, or whatever? Without that other data, what they see is meaningless.

Fair take.

I think it’s a weak look but we’ll see if has any positive effect.

I will say this: Morey, Harden, and the rest continually toe whatever line they possibly can. On and off the court.

I mean those photos are hilarious. Draymond stays exactly where he was and harden throws his feet 4 feet forward.

Harden extending forward probably cost him getting a foul call in a couple of spots yesterday IMO.

I think there were 1 or 2 where Draymond/KD at least arguably did foul by crowding his landing space, but Harden's extending made it unclear for the refs.

So what your telling me is the team that doesn't go out of its way to fake contact gets better officiating than a team that almost entirely premises its game on faking contact? in the playoffs for good measure?

Shocked I tell you. Shocked!

Feet going forward is proper fundamental shooting technique. It’s called the “sway”.

Anybody who says you have to land in the same spot you jump from is wrong.

Now, Harden exaggerated it a lot late in the game when Draymond bumped him to try to get a call. Maybe he thought they would call it after blowing calls in the first half. I don’t know, but I didn’t think that was a foul on Draymond. I also don’t think Livingston fouled Chris Paul at the end.

But Klay Thompson fouled Harden 3 times for sure.

Agreed. No one comes down exactly where they leave the feet. And the rule doesn’t say you have to come down where you leave your feet. You get a landing area to come down in.

The ones on klay in half one were definitely fouls. The last one no I don’t have a problem with that one. Hardwn got away with one on the looney foul in half two. Some calls go your way some calls go the other way.

Bruh, harden was in the Olympic broad jump. That ain't normal shooting technique.

This is just blind bias if I have ever seen it if you think what Harden and the other Rockets do is anyway equal to that definition.

Good God, you people are so bought into this bullshite team.

You should have some sway when you shoot, yes, but your legs should be parallel to the ground after a shot.

I said he does sometimes, like when he was guarded by Draymond.

But earlier in the game, when Klay bumped him several times, those were legit shots with a normal shooting motion.

Rather than just saying it, it would likely help you if you were able to post a screen shot or two of the defender jumping into Harden.

If Thompson jumps multiple feet forward to land in Harden's landing area, that is a foul. I think people want to see proof, not just a team complaining about it.

it needs to be repeated. the rockets complaining about officiating when their franchise player literally builds his entire game off absolute garbage officiating is the height of absurdity

You also can't punish a defender that goes straight up to block a shot (legal), because some idiot player thrusts himself forward on the shot unreasonably, which Harden does.

Harden and Paul get away with more blatant offensive fouls than anyone I've seen and that says a lot seeing as both are freaking perimeter players. You'd think a guy like LeBron or Shaq would, but no, its freaking Harden and Paul.

They just g sweep the top defense in the league and hardwn barely went to the line at all. You see when you are an elite defense, you don’t have to foul. But you still won’t win. You still get g swept. It’s a “how do you want it” for the opposition. Foul him or don’t. Unless you are GOAT you can’t even make a competitive playoff series.
