Nope. Completely against it, but don't judge parents that do.

I never spank my kids.

However every now and then I pop them. I’ve also had to whoop my 2 oldest 2 or 3 times each. I’m not a big fan of disrespect. The whoopings come from disrespecting their teacher or their mom.

But I never spank my kids.

Spare the rod and spoil the child.there is absolutely Nothing wrong with talking to them and you should try to use words at first but if that doesnt work you let them know whawhat your next course of action will be. If they still do it, you administer the punishment and tell them again why you are doing it. Never beat your kid, spank them. Do not do it from a place of anger and emotion. But I promise if you don't whip that arse when they're little someone else will when they are older and they probably wont stop after just 3 licks.

Spank mine. Discipline is love and love is discipline.

Never spank out of anger.

I’ve never raised my hand to my daughter. I don’t fault those that do, but that isn’t my style.

I have 4 kids, my 2 daughters I have never spanked, I’ve only had to threaten one of them one time. My oldest son I’ve unfortunately spanked quite a bit, he’s almost 10 now but I haven’t spanked him in 3-4 years. My youngest son I’ve spanked once and maybe a few “pops” here and there. I for one regret a few of the spankings I gave my oldest son. Not all of them but there is 2-3 I wish I could take back.

I spanked/swatted them when they were very young so I wouldn’t have to when they were older. It’s worked out well.

You got to put the fear of god into them at an early age.

Rarely but when necessary. Probably spanked my daughter 4 or 5 in her life and she’s seven now and I doubt I will ever need to again. Son about the same but he’s 4 and gotten somewhat stubborn and defiant very recently so a few more are probably in his near future.

I don't have kids but I do remember some comedian doing a rant about spanking where he basically said kids are the only type of people you're legally allowed to hit

Yeah try spanking an adult and not getting slapped with assault

We used to spank them but it was very very rare and attention was focused and behavior changed.

All is good.

Nowadays, thankfully, I only have to spank Mrs. Frog.

I got my arse tore up at home and at school and I’m thankful for it. I knew no one who whipped me wanted to do it or took joy in it. They were doing it for me, to help me because up until around the age of 12 or 13, that’s all I understood. After 12 or 13, a beating became the easy way out over grounding or whatever.

People need to fear the consequences if they do something wrong.

They both smoke a ton of weed. The “good” kids are always stoners.

You're right, next time I'm going through the rigor of handing them a device to shut them up.
