People who fake a disability/injury to get priority boarding on an airplane

So I was on a flight back from Chicago to Houston this past week and a man in a wheel chair with his wife pushing arrive at the gate and proceed to the front of the line to board 1st with the people who need extra time. He gets out out of the wheel chair at the door and walks down the jet way to the plane. Arrive in Houston and the couple leaves the plane and walks off into the terminal yet needed no wheelchair at this point. My guess he used the wheelchair to get free priority boarding. Anyone have a problem with this?

Dont hate the player hate the game
Its a dumb rule, why not put those people on last?

Did you follow him to sonic?

Hell, if he really wants it that bad and went through all that trouble, just take it. I got better shite to worry about.

It's a great strategy for the guy. He arrived in Houston hours before you.

Never understood the need to get on first (except southwest air). I prefer to get on last. They arrive to parties 30 min early too?

If you fly very much, you should realize the trick is to be the last person to board and the first person to deplane.

I'm actually literally deaf for life. I get free priority boarding and pre boarding no matter what.
First on the plane, first off the plane bitches.

I'm just sorry that you were in Chicago and Houston.

A lady I used to work with attempted this in sfo to get priority boarding - they busted her and she boarded last

Well I’ve certainly never encountered this on private flights.

Why do you want to be on the plane longer? Unless I happen to be in First Class, I like being one of the last frickers to board. Less time I have to be crammed in a tiny seat.

I was on a flight a couple of months ago where about 20 pepole rolled up in wheelchairs! Looked like a tram at Disney world. When the announcement to preboard was made they all started to roll up at the same time. I'm trying not to laugh. Obvious traffic jam builds up, so some road rage ensued. All of a sudden one of the wheelers gets up and punched an older man in his chair! That old dude looked like an old soldier; he had a ballcap that had "retired" something on it I thought. Well he got out of his chair and started a WWE tag team match with another dude that fell out of his chair on the dude that started the fight!
So these 2 guys are bouncing up and down on the dude that started this whole thing, I see the gate agent get on the microphone and start to ask for calm when this big woman in another chair got up and starts whaling on some other woman who had a stroller with a child! I couldn't believe it! The stroller lady had pushed her way past the fighting "handicappers" to avoid being crushed, and she must have bumped the woman who was eating some big sandwich she must have bought from a restaurant in the airport, and must've knocked it out of her mouth!
This was a Southwest flight so no assigned seats so you can imagine what the frequent flyer guys were thinking when the 20 wheelchairs come up at once! And they were getting steamed cause now the A lineup is starting to start to rustle a bit too. I'm in B so I'm sitting watching all this take place with my wife (no pics) and we're trying to stay calm too because we're in seats facing the walk up aisle! Get this! Now the 3 guys are wrestling, the sammich woman is swinging at the stroller and then the rest of the wheelchair people all get up and start running for the gate! Running like healthy people that are mostly overweight, but light trotting you could say. All this effort to get on a plane first! What seemed like 3 minutes was probably 40 seconds, when a security team comes busting through the melee and chair sprawl and open the door get on the floor, everybody do the dinosaur.

I seent it at TSA.
Lady rolls up in wheelchair, bypassing the line. She leaps out of the chair and walks through. Then she heads to her gate like a speed walker.

Not worse than all the slick-sleeved E-1s and E-2s that wear their ACUs to try to get bumped to first class

The answer is FOLO. First On Last Off. If you need extra time to get on the plane then you should need extra time to get off the plane. They should get off the plane last.
The number of early boarders would drop by 80%.

One has to be mentally disabled to even want to get on a fricking plane early.

some people have issues with their legs that make it impossible to stand for extended periods of time yet can function and move around normally otherwise ya know.
i also would need a wheel chair to sit in and get around right up until the hours of waiting was over and i could just walk to get on the plane and in my seat.
but i also dont use handicap parking or take advantage of any disability perks because of it as "some" people go out of their way to do it seems so ya i see your point but you dont know what the guys true issue was or if he really had one

I dont know why people want to be on the plane first anyway. I typically dont board when the call my section. I want until the very end then get on the plane. I want to spend less time in that small cramped space, not more time.
