Burnt out on super hero movies, especially Avengers stuff. Zero desire to see this movie. Will Netflix it when available and nothing better to do.

I seem to be alone in this regard.

Not at all. I've never been into the comic book/superhero movies and havne't acutally seen any of them at all really other than a few batmans. Just doesn't interest me in the slightest. Not hating on them by any means, just not my cup of tea.

I’ll put it this way: I was burnt out as well. I was going to see this sheerly for novelty’s sake and how impressed I was on the scale of the project. I openly acknowledged that I’d grade this film on a curve given it’s got 30 main characters in it, and I didn’t think that could work. I wanted it to end after IW Part II.

I was absolutely blown away by this movie. It may be my favorite Marvel film, although I want to digest it a bit more before I say that definitively. The Russo brothers have seemingly done the impossible and made this a tight, competent, and exciting thrill ride with all these characters on screen and not have it be a complete mess. I don’t have to grade this movie on a curve because it is a great movie on its own accord.

And the villain is also fantastic, and best super villain since Ledger’s Joker. I highly encourage people to see this. I can’t believe how well it was pulled off.

I wouldn’t mind watching it, it will probably be a good action flick. I’m probably 15 movies behind though so I doubt I ever get to it.

No. That is pretty much impossible.

There are without a doubt other people who don’t care about it either.

What a stupid question.

I too am burnt out on super hero movies. However, I watch them all in the end. I might go see this in the theater, but coordinating with my friends has been problematic on it. I can't make the times they are going.

And my wife isn't going to see this.

eta: my biggest draw would be getting the guys together to see a movie. After they popped out a few kids, this only happens 1-2 x per year vs once a month before.

My interest in comic book hero movies is so low that I've never seen one.

You're not alone. Most Americans will not see this movie.

I love these threads.

Hey look at me, I'm so edgy not giving a shite about comic book movies and telling people about it!!!

The problem for me is I'm just too far behind on all the other movies to catch up. Ive only seen Iron Man 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy out of them all.

I’m not a fan of all the superhero movies either. I feel like there’s a new one every weekend.
