Watched V/H/S Horror on Shudder. The "Fun Size" segment was easily the best. Not really scary, just lots of fun with a unique premise. "Coochie Coochie Coo" was the scariest segment and was really good overall. Two other segments were pretty good, and there were two that were either boring or just bad.
Night of the Reaper is another Shudder original that is a recent release that I really enjoyed. Not going to give any info on the movie, but I really enjoyed it. Its not the scariest movie. I just enjoyed the story.

If you have not watched What If, I recommend watching the Zombies episode to make sense of what's going on because this picks up 5 years after the events in that episode.
Ive never seen What If?. Never wanted to. I didnt question why we were focused on those three characters. I love the Zombies comic so I just assumed we were jumping right in. I did have some questions, but they were answered for the most part.

You probably arent getting in cheaper than $750 or so. You're spending $200+ on shite ACC games against Pitt or Stanford. Cameron is tiny and season ticket holders arent letting those tickets out of their hands for any discount. Also, if Duke looks legit and the Boozer twins are the real deal, its going to increase.

Been in bed sick so I binged this show yesterday, and it was incredible. Animation was very good for the most part and had a few really great parts(Blade). Loved the brutality and the coldness of death for heroes. Blade, Blade, Blade, Blade.
First good project from Marvel since Werewolf by Night.

re: Selling Baseball Card Collection
Posted by devils1854 on 9/6/25 at 6:43 pm to Python
Here's my advise
I would try to sell everything all at once. Its going to be the easiest and best bang for your buck, if you do it right.
Im sure you can put feelers out there on facebook and maybe talk to people at shops or at a show. Find someone that will buy everything at once, in cash. Also, you should expect, and strive for around 70-75% of value. It sounds like your cards are going to be common, so there will be plenty of sales to get comps off of. So make sure the person you are dealing with isnt a scum bag and not trying to find the lowest comps, but the average sales of the cards.
If you can get someone to do it that way and will pay 70-75%, then take it. If you sell anything on Ebay, you are losing 20% right there if you are a new seller. Also, if you are a new seller and are trying to sell high value cards online, there will be many people that will be suspicious of a new account and will probably shy away.
You also need to take into account that if you decide to get the best cards graded, then depending on the card and the grading company, you could be shelling out $500+ in grading one card if it is valued high enough.
One more thing. You have a collection that you are trying to get rid of. You can start selling a card here and there. If the collection is large enough, then you are still going to be trying to sell cards a year or more for now. There are some cards that just arent going to sell. Someone is going to give you the opportunity to wash your hands of everything at once, and get a nice cash payment you can use on something else. This other person is taking all labor and possible headaches from you and will probably still be stuck with part of your collection a year from now and will end up bundling it with other crap to get rid of it themselves.
SUMMARY:Find someone that will buy everything at once. Overwhelmingly the best option.

10 players selected in the draft. 9 are pitchers. The team was 13th in era and 15th in walks in the SEC. 6th in BAA and 8th in Ks. I think our pitching guru needs a new approach.

In the past three years, on average there has been two upperclassmen drafted in the lottery. Next year, the class could be one of the best in a long time. You have 3-5 elite talents coming into college next year. Plus, what looks like a very good second tier right below. The international class looks to be strong with a few guys potentially going high. Also, there are already big names coming back next year in Boogie Fland, Isaiah Evans, Jayden Quintance, that are being mocked highly.
There’s no guarantee he would be drafted 10 spots higher next year. Yes, we all believe and hope he is going to continue to grow, but what if he gets injured? What if he is what he is? What if the class gets even stronger next year and he doesn’t develop an outside shot?
You talk about the Hawks like they are hapless? The East sucks. Indiana and Boston have lost their superstars for a year. Detroit, Orlando, and Cleveland are good, but are they OKC or other top teams in the west? Absolutely not. The Hawks have a top 20 player in the league. A first team all defender that’s the best perimeter defender in the league. The #1 pick at the #3 that got better as the year went on, and might not be a superstar but could be very good. If healthy, Jalen Johnson is a multi time all star. If healthy. Same with Kristaps(who is on the last year of his deal). This is a perfect spot for Asa. He could possibly step in a play meaningful minutes as a rookie and contribute, and next year, he could be the starting center for a playoff team and part of a solid young nucleus. Let’s also not forget Atlanta has a 25 million dollar trade exception that they can use and should to make the roster even better.
I don’t think he is regretting a thing right now.

Looks like asa should have stayed another year
Drafted in the first round. Will get a contract thats roughly 4 yrs and 16 million. Is playing for his hometown team. The Hawks starting PF is coming off a season ending injury, starting C is a free agent and not coming back, and the replacement C has played 60 games in a season once in the past 8 years.
I think he's doing just fine.
