You can't force someone to trade with you. Also, we're nearing the trade deadline, which also affects when deals get done.

Because our payroll next year with Boogie on max is pushing 125m, which is the tax line. And that's without a point guard or Monroe on the roster.

You can assume Ajinca won't be on it either. But yes, it's gonna be tight. Would be nice if Boogie took a little less money in year 1, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. And he shouldnt need to. This owner needs to be willing to pay the tax if the team is good

A lot of them think our pick will be much lower than we do.
Also, fans on the internet overvalue 1st round picks almost as much as Dell Demps undervalues them.

The problem with that is he's going to have to hope its good, because this roster won't play together until the tax is surpassed.
