It’s not apples to apples because the price of goods ABC and services doesn’t increase with your worth. Someone worth 150k spends 30% or more on just eating and having basic needs. 30% of a billion buys small islands or wnba teams

Lots of projection here.
For a team in a rebuild or “retool”… having a rookie deal QB and loads of young talent in a weak division with $100m of dead cap is a BEAUTIFUL thing. Dead money is just a savings account for future spending against the cap.

Josh said shite about the org, shite we’d all probably agree with considering the state of things. He has always been clear that he loves the city.
It will be nice to have a rooting interest in the playoffs. JHart and Jose were incredible ambassadors and embraced our city. Go get em boys.

I’m having hard time remembering what it’s like for a New Orleans pro sports franchise to lose a game.

Based on the standings as of mid-December 2025, the Western Conference has become extremely top-heavy, which is suppressing the win totals required for the bottom seeds.
The New Magic Number: 38-40 Wins
To secure the 10th seed this season, you likely only need to hover around or slightly below .500.
• Current 10th Seed: Utah Jazz (10-15 record,
.400 Win %)
• Current Pace for 10th: ~33 wins (if they maintain current win %)
• Projected "Safe" Threshold: 40 wins
Why the Bar is Lower This Season
In previous years, you needed 44+ wins because the conference was deep 1-11. This season, the
"wealth" is being hoarded at the top, leaving scraps for the middle.
