Bulls are giving the 2nd round pick acquired in the Quincy Pondexter deal back to Pelicans, per source. Bulls get first-round pick from Pelicans. Option to swap 2nd-round picks in 2 or 3 years, per source.
Also, in a separate tweet:
Pelicans will pick up option, per source.

So, to recap, the deal, while not final, is being worked to completion with Mirotic and 2nd-round pick headed to Pelicans and Asik and future 1st-round pick coming to Bulls. Option to swap 2nd-round picks in future draft.
