What was your most recent restaurant experience that was so disappointing you decided you would NEVER give them another dime?

Mine is Stadia in Katy. Finally went for the first time yesterday, after living here a few years.
Beer tasted "off".
Food was all seasoned wrong or undercooked.
No need to go back. Too many other options.

How 'bout you?

FWIW, they're not as bad as they used to be.

I like to think I choose good restaurants to begin with so not much comes to mind that is on my no go list right now.
Hated my last/only visit to Twin Peaks in Metairie, but they closed down two months ago.

I guess I would say Mosca's due to their cash only policy. I have no patience for stuff like that.

Let me start by saying I love John Besh restaurants but I will never set foot in Borgne again.

I have been there a few times and thought it was okay but my recent experience before a Saints game was laughingly bad from the service to the atmosphere and lastly to the inedible food.

Back of house must have been in control of the music; I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Noise is definitely something that earns a place on my blacklist....but I'll put up w awful service for great food. Mediocre to bad food is what really rankles. I won't darken the door of Venezia in mid city....I know ppl love the place, but I find it awful.

My wife got together yesterday with 3 friends for knitting, shopping and lunch in the quarter. She suggested Camelia Grill, but was met with blank stares. Turns out 2 of them claimed "food poisoning" after eating there.

There is a very popular restaurant in madisonville I won't go to because the owners are whiny bitches and treated a so called friend like shite right in front of me.

I second Borgne. Wife and I went there last December. Our waiter walked up to us after we were seated and asked us what we wanted to order. No small talk, no personality, no selling. Didn't ask us about drinks, appetizers, etc.

Felt like I was at Denny's.

I will never go back.

II Tony's.

Chef must have been off that day or something (I wish they would put a sign up when that happens).

Salad was like a bag from the grocery store with Kraft Italian dressing. Pasta was ok but nothing special. Desert was a Sara Lee cheese cake not fully defrosted.

I have friends that think it's one of the best Italian places in the city and I have never figured out why. They also sell their sauce in dorignacs and I have no idea why.

Blacklisting a restaurant requires more than one shitty server. Was the food crappy at least ?

The Melting Pot. Crappy expensive food and horrible service the times I went.
