Sammy's in Prairieville. I've given the place plenty of chances. Have not been when I wasn't sorely disappointed in a dish that I've enjoyed at another location or just plain wrong order.
Chimes is also on my shite list but I do enjoy their appetizers.

Went to Cafe Henri in the Bywater the other night and it was inedible.
The burger was asked to be cooked medium and it was raw. The fries were so undercooked and oil soaked we had to send them back. The brisket lasagna was so terrible and flavorless we decided to not even give it to the dog. The soup of the day was a corn and crab bisque that had to have come from a can. For some reason there was no corn and no crab, but a few miniscule frozen shrimp.
Im not sure why this place is number 1 on the eater heatmap, but it was downright awful.
I will never return.

Juban's..used to be BR's best, now crap other than the honey bourbon, and even that's crap if you get the bottom of the container.
McDonald's for ice cream
Burger King on Jefferson
Roberto's.. love the building and the menu..problem is the food is NOT as good as people make it out to be. Definitely not good enough to drive 30 min without securing a reservation

FWIW, they're not as bad as they used to be.
I can speak only for the one in Shreveport but aside from the food being mediocre at best (and I've sampled a good chunk of their menu) I've literally shat black the last two times I went. Once from the tuna salad, once from the crawfish etouways, or whatever it's called. Most accusations of "food poisoning" are bs because most food borne pathogens take more than a day to incubate but I don't shite coal-colored mud from other places' food.
So yeah, Walk On's earns a spot for me. As does Indigo in Shreveport for an experience I shared I another thread. And before they closed down, Royal Street Deli in NOLA for literally refusing to hold the onions on a sandwich. Try to make that make sense.

The Melting Pot. Crappy expensive food and horrible service the times I went.
This x 1000
I never understood the allure but went with a group of friends one night a few years back. All I could keep thinking was let me just fire up the mini-crock at home and enjoy my beer cheese. For about $200 less.

- Jubans -
Not on my blacklist but, Went a few weeks ago for the first time. Great service, drinks, killer salad.
My app and entree was terrible. Not inedible but way overpriced. very bland and uninspired. Was with family and ate it anyway. I just enjoy the time with loved ones and order a double to wash it down.

Edit: kills me because I've read good things about jubans on here over the years

How the hell is the Melting Pot on St Charles Ave still open? I have literally never met someone that is eating there.

Agreed.
A few years back a lady I worked with asked me for some recommendations for nice romantic places she could take her husband. I put together a listing of 10 places and gave her links to reviews etc along with the websites.
Talked to her the following Monday and asked how her meal went and she said they went to the Melting Pot and didn't enjoy it at all. Goofy woman.

Chili's in Gonzales... Either food comes out cold, wrong order, ran out of chips, sticky tables, etc.
TJ Ribs on Seigen, just bad service the last two times I've been. Last time the food came out cold with a hair in it as well.

I am a John Besh fan, but I will never go to La Provence again. Went for New Years Eve last year and had a terrible meal and the service took forever. I think it ended up taking 2.5 hours to eat. The server took around 30 minutes to pick up plates after each course.
We had been to La Provence previously and just did not enjoy the food. We figured it might have just been an off night So we gave it another chance on New Years Eve.

Pelican House - refuse to ever set foot in there again.

Yeah that would be one for me as well.
Never an updated menu, food pretty meh, servers clueless, old beers, too loud, cover charge for games, etc.

There is a very popular restaurant in madisonville I won't go to because the owners are whiny bitches and treated a so called friend like shite right in front of me.

Judging a restaurant based upon one of the busiest nights of the year isn't the best way to gauge a place. I've been there countless times since Besh took over and always enjoy my meal.
