Red Foxx had impeccable timing and the surround cast were very talented.

He became a minister after S&S, and spent many of his later years doing that. I believe he had something like 6-7 kids. Now he’s off to join Fred and Elizabeth. RIP.

Did the “big one” get him? He’s off to see Elizabeth and Fred.

Greatest show of all time.

ETA: just learned that he was a Vietnam Vet

The last surviving cast member is Hal Williams who played Officer Smitty.

Fantastic show. Wish they could produce content like that today.

I saw a TV interview with Wilson a few years back where he went on a rant that was totally off topic. It was so incoherent they cut the segment short.

RIP Lamont

There has never been funnier TV sitcom scenes than when Aunt Esther walked through the door into Fred’s house & madness & hilarity ensued. Greatness

Can you imagine this and the other great shows on prime time TV today? We all laughed, but everyone would be offended.

He and Rollo were hysterical together when Pop would rip into them. Such an awesome show
