It used to be republican until 1932 and has only voted republican 3 times since then with 1972 being the last. It’s not a recent thing they’ve been a shithole blue state, they’ve been that way ever since I can remember and I’m 40.

Lived there and you are 100% correct. People just dont know how to people up there. Cabin fever is real. And both years I lived there it started snowing around Halloween and didn't stop until damn near May.

Men aren't as soft there. There are some dudes in northern MN but the cities are overrun by feminized men. And the population of the states you listed don't even equal to the population of Minneapolis. For a state with a pretty hefty population, they are not friendly for the most part. Minnesota nice is a real thing.
