Idk, but all the Somalis bunched up over there didn't help.
If we want to not become Europe(specifically Great Britian), we must enact some type of laws that require assimilation. Otherwise, all these Muslims from shithole countries eventually take over areas with thier shithole ways.
Islam is not a religion of peace. Thier innocent sounding "call to prayer" says it all:
"God is the Greatest, I testify that there is no god but Allah, and Come to prayer."
"There is no god but allah". Follow that with all the verses in the Koran directing its followers to overtake the infidels.......
Oh, and the Koran also directs them to murder any Muslim that chooses to leave thier religion.

Less Scandinavian immigrants and more German, Irish and Ulster Irish immigrants. Places with those ancestries are far less progressive than places with larger Scandinavian ancestries. I'd guess too that fighting Indian wars for half a century in the Dakotas and Montana made the folks there far more conservative than in Minnesota. Remember, Robert LaFollette got over 40% of the vote in Minnesota in the 1924 Presidential election. He was on the ballot in Minnesota as the Socialist Party candidate. This liberalism pre-dates the mass importation of Somalians.

Minnesota has always leaned left. Look at past presidential elections to find that it votes Democrat since Eisenhower, except for Nixon vs McGovern

Because we and NATO fomented war in Somalia in 1993 and 2007-2011 and we got flooded with Somalian war refugees because of it - mostly in Minnesota I would wager
