MN was the only state not to vote for Regan in 1984.

People also forget that this is an area where the Democratic machine never has been broken.

It was friendly near home turf and adjacent to America's most prominent socialist politicians historically -- Wisconsin.

The 'Democratic Farm Labor' party is the hard left fusion of those forces that has dominated in state politics for generations. You add on turning on the spigot on immigration to thwart the Wisconsinization of the state, and that's how you still have a state that is so backwards politically.

Wasn't Minnesota one of few states that didn't vote for Regan?

When Regan won 49 states, he lost Minnesota.

That state's always been fricking tweaked. I'd love to blame it on Obama, but this shite started long before that.

It’s been blue for so long.

Lots of big woke companies have their HQ there as well.

The Somalis started coming in the early 90s and to this day make up less than 2 percent of the population of the state.
