Was it the 07 game against Virginia Tech?

I never felt that level of raw, unadulterated domination again until 2019.

How's about the 05-06 season, Chick-Fil-A Peach Boel against the Miami Hurricanes? I think Miami had the #3 D in the country and we were #5. Put an absolute whooping on them...40-3 IIRC. I was in TigerBand for that one and after the 3rd collectively we started cheering and than said...aw shite there is a whole 'nother quarter we have to sit through? Game was so out of hand it got boring and tedious to watch.

I didn't realize how little Va Tech's offense did in that game tho. 149 total yards.

Most of that happened when Tyrod Taylor was going against LSU’s 3rd team. Had to be close to 100 before Taylor came in.

Just thorough and complete domination. 45-8 Tigers, just a week after a 14-6 stinker for homecoming vs S. Carolina.

We had another really dominating win at home vs. a decent Ole Miss team in 1976 by the score of 45-0. It was 31-zip at the half

1959 Ole Miss. Johnny Vaught was punting on 3rd down, and without the defensive stand at the end, Billy Cannon’s punt return would have been forgotten.

1982 vs Bama, Bama has 50 yds at halftime, bear died shortly after. 20-10, final score was no indicator of how thoroughly we dominated that game!

Some of you idiots don’t know how to read. He asked about the greatest defensive performance in TIGER STADIUM! The 82 bama game was in Birmingham.

Mississippi St 2004

We out-gained them 600-130

What's wild is we actually lost 4 fumbles and still destroyed them lol

'14 vs Ole Miss

Ole Miss came into BR #3 to play a pretty mediocre LSU team by our standards. Death Valley was rowdy as hell that night. The game winning drive with 12 runs in a row and then a playaction pass to a wide open Logan Stokes when every single person in the building or watching it on TV was expecting another run. I gave a lot of shite to OM fans telling them their best team ever lost to one of LSU’s worst in a couple decades. Couple weeks later we had another classic and took Bama into OT and should’ve won. Still think that pass hit the ground on their drive to tie it up. That was a pretty good defensive performance for 58 minutes

1997 Fla. To consider best defensive performance you to consider the offense they are playing. Fla was #1 with a great offense.

The National Championship game against Oklahoma in 2004 was a dominant defensive performance against the Heisman Trophy winning QB.

2011 Kentucky we only let up 150 yards whole game. I can't recall any SEC game where we let up 150 yards or fewer besides that game. It just goes under the radar but best defensive game I remember

Because Jordan Jefferson came back and got a bogus TD at the 1

That was the conversation after the game

That Virginia Tech game is the most complete performance I have ever seen from an LSU team in my time. All phases were full throttle.

I have memories about an awesome goal line stand in the south end zone. Defense was led by Toby Caston.

Ring any bells for anyone?
