Or does the academic calendar no longer matter to the eligibility of the players?
I root against all SEC teams not named LSU. Always have. But at least the others are not a bunch of crybabies that have never won anything.

Yall do know Frank Wilson was making $1.2 million plus incentives, right?

quote:

D.Grealds,L.Brown and R.Anderson

And they knew he was out. and still signed.

The others just said that Frank was their lead recruiter but they didn’t say he’s why they came to LSU.

Can people stop with this stupidity.

Go ahead and list the championship teams he was a part of
Not part of any of the Championship teams.

Only on average 4-5 New Orleans players on LSU roster last several years.

SEC teams do not have any New Orleans players this year.

It is a myth and no impact.

LSU has had a horrible offense and running game with Wilson has assistant head coach and running back coach.

It’s a new era. The kids from NOLA can put in their application for employment at LSU along with the best in the nation. NIL will decide not thug High School coaches. Brown bags no longer needed.
From CoPilot

Great question! Here’s the current situation:

On-field coaching limits have been removed
As of June 2024, the NCAA Division I Council voted to eliminate the previous cap of 11 “countable” coaches (head coach + 10 assistants). Now, any staff member can provide technical and tactical instruction during practices and games, meaning there is no limit on the number of sideline coaches who can coach during games. ESPN

Recruiting limits remain
For FBS programs, only 11 staff members (head coach + 10 assistants) can recruit off-campus. FCS programs are allowed 13. Service academies get four extra recruiters. This restriction is still in place to maintain competitive balance. NCAA

Sideline personnel limit
While coaching limits are gone, the NCAA rules still restrict the team area to squad members in uniform plus a maximum of 50 other individuals (trainers, coaches, staff, etc.). These individuals must have proper credentials. Medical personnel are exempt from the 50-person cap.
Sportscollaboration

So, in short:
-Unlimited coaches can give instruction on the sideline.
-Only 50 non-uniformed personnel are allowed in the team area during games.
-Recruiting limits still apply.

Some of you are lazy AF and stupid

Nothing has changed.

Go read the contract

LSU will pay about $750,000 per month and it will be reduced by whatever employment Kelly HAS TO GO SEEK during the next 6 years. or he gets nothing. idiots
Allen Atkins - $990,000
Austin Thomas - $1,575,000
Blake Baker - $2,250,000
Brad Davis - $891,000
Kevin Bolden - $202,500
Kevin Peoples - $630,000

All other staff members have a clause that tie them to Brian Kelly. LSU does not owe them after this year.

LINK

Will pay BK about $25-30 million in settlement.
Yep. the Original $25 Million cash offer to walk away and be done with LSU.

PV = $45.7 Million at 5% discount rate.

Potential required mitigation clause jobs = estimate at least $3.5 million per year for 6 years or more? so $21 million offset by mitigation.

or take the $25 million and go get drunk and play golf.
No they will not.

And with the clearinghouse, the NIL commitment is worthless.
God you people need to do some contract and financial training.

Ross click baiting. CBK will settle for around the original LSU offer

And eventually a similar crash and burn will occur.
Why can not the CFP use a similar formula and not a committee?

Only figure skating, gymnastics and CFP use a panel of judges.
quote:

Honestly it’s just winning. That’s it

The fans will still leave early. Tailgating all day wearing folks out and horrendous after game traffic is a bad mix. Game has to go to OT against a Top 10 team to keep stadium full.
CFW is a true tiger. Not sure if he gets a shot, but I hope he sticks around after this mess.

Politics Change board needed

Posted by BlueDogTiger on 10/30/25 at 11:44 pm
Chicken,

We need a new board for changing the politicians in this state. Make it happen. Please sir.
If I am 37 years old and my alma mater can double my current salary and let me work to become the next head coach? yea. frick, the people on this board are morons.
give them fellas nice pay and find us a OC. Recruiting will explode.

Who ya'll got for OC and rest of staff?

Allen Atkins, Austin Thomas, and Kyle Williams.

All other have the 2026 year left. Corey Raymond has an option for 2027 if LSU chooses to take it.

Seven staff members have BK clause that state they only get paid for six months from the date BK is no longer the head coach. Corey Raymond, Cortez Hankton, Frank Wilson, Jacob Flint, Joe Sloan. Jake Olson also has the clause but this is last season on his contract.

Total to buy out remaining contracts is $11,646,000. If BK is let go, then it is $8.9 million.

But i am sure that all these coaches will want extensions to stick around, so that may push the school to make a choice on BK before locking in staff for anther 20-30 million for next three years?

re: Update on a new LSU Fight Song

Fits in with the piped in music strategy helping force fans out of the stadium.. While ABC loves to have the band sounds during their broadcast. just listen to another college game on ABC.

So yea. your crap song meets LSU standards
Time to start firing the non essential employees.
Mary McCord is the center of it all. All reports always leave her name off the list.

She was at the original meeting.
She was DON NS. Helped file FISA warrants
The moved to Mueller probe.
Was part of Ukraine Impeachment team.
Work on J6 committee

McCord is married to Sheldon Snook, who also worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. In fact, it was McCord who got her husband his job as administrative assistant and court liaison to the public and news media by recommending him to Judge Hogan. Snook also served as spokesman for the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. He currently works in a similar capacity for the U.S. Supreme Court for Chief Justice.

Snook is believed to be the leaker of the Dobbs decision
