Why the push for women in combat?

Noticed at a recent visit to the USAF museum in Dayton, basically every exhibit featured a section about "women in flight" or "women in war", etc. And there was a feature about % of female airmen over the year and members of the USAF have increased and how that is a good thing for some reason. Military TV ads seem to be really pushing females in combat roles.
What is the net benefit of more women in combat for our country? Does this produce more happy, healthy stable families and thriving, safe communities?
Also, if a nation were to adhere to "jus ad bellum" tactics, that would require that nation to use the minimum possible force necessary to justify their own defense. Placing anyone in harms way simply to fill quotas, would seem to negatively impact the ability to achieve that goal.
And just to clarify. If there are indivual outliers, say of certain women who happen to excel in certain positions even when up against their male counterparts, and it is proven that their participation is a net positive... I think that is maybe acceptable, though not entirely necessary. But in general, I am not understanding the need to constantly promote it, as if the safety of the nation is dependent on more women fighting our wars.

Good way to reduce your population. That is one reason it was taboo. In WWI France, UK and Germany lost a good portion of their population but never thought of endangering their women. That would be their future.
But we have plenty of high-quality people coming across our border so we can now let our women be KIA.

Probably multiple reasons, but the one that interests me is the phenomenon that has arisen over the past maybe 10 years. There are a lot of people nowadays who legitimately do not understand how much more powerful (and faster, and quicker, and generally more agile and physically coordinated) men are than women.
They are so stupid that they believe the woke superhero movies and the feminist propaganda without questioning it. They really think that women can fight men in hand to hand combat and compete.
When Ladyballers first came out I remember watching one of the DW host's shows on it (maybe Michael Knowles?). There were a bunch of wokies trashing the show, which was to be expected, but what was very unexpected to me was that roughly half of the complainers were complaining that the premise that men would dominate in a women's basketball league was preposterous.
YouTube is also full of videos of women—some in the military—who challenge men in MMA fights or some other hand to hand combat situation and really think they can beat them. They get their asses kicked with the quickness, of course, which is the purpose of the video.
But that's exactly why this is an interesting phenomenon to me. We're living in a time in which basic, easily observable realities are being disbelieved because of propaganda. We're not talking about the existence of God here, which nobody can prove or disprove. We're talking about a reality that everyone has has many, many opportunities to personally observe, and something about which much scientific research exists.
You might as well stop believing that water is wet.

Well, a US military General did say the forces "did not miss a beat" with the inclusion of women. Of course, those same Generals usually get the "cream" of the crop working directly for them.

Hatred of women, would be my only guess.
Women were considered too valuable to lose in fighting. They were worthy of protection. Now... not so much. It's odd that "feminism" has led to women being debased and devalued in society. I don't see it as progress nor good for women.

When women are living together in barracks and training together they synchronize their periods. That means they synchronize their PMS violent moods.
