Former Kentucky forward Mouhamed Dioubate has committed to LSU out of the transfer portal, he announced on Monday evening.

Dioubate, a 6-7 forward from Queens, New York, played in 31 games with 10 starts this past season, averaging 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.

He began his college career at Alabama, where he played his first two seasons.

Dioubate is Will Wade's first commitment from the transfer portal.

And so begins the journey back from the darkness and abject despair of Mount MM to the return of king and general of joy, happiness, and hope in this new age of LSU basketball.

I'm very fatigued with this "committed thing. Just say "signed" third team in as many years. Not mad, get paid for your services, but you aren't "committed".

This TP is ruining college sports! In real life when things get tough you can't just be like I am entering the transfer portal honey!!! This is teaching young men and women not to be patient and work harder.

If you don't like your job, or you dont see an opportunity for advancement, you absolutely can go and find another one. If you are wanting to get paid more, you go and you find a comparable position that also increases your salary. How is this different?

Because you are an employee and not a student. The NCAA rules are different than societal rules. College athletes shouldnt be characterized as professionals which is what you are doing.

So, Joe Burrow, and Jayden Daniels should not have been allowed to transfer to LSU? Just curious...

I like Mo, wish he had stayed. He's a bulldog and you need bulldogs. He can't shoot, but he's around the rim. Good pickup.

That picture is all you need to form a opinion....in college, hes averaged 6 pts per game. WW is just in absolute desperation mode at this point. Its ok to admit it guys. No one wanted to stay once he was announced. Let that sink in
