should know that Islam is one of two official religions in Russia.
Kind of happens when the Mongols run roughshod through the entire steppe and then later khanates convert to Islam.

there is absolutely no way anyone could have armed and self-defended themselves out of the situation. These guys look like they were ex-military and had been training for a long time. Anyone who was in their path was already dead
I haven’t watched many videos but the 2 I saw these guys looked very far from ‘highly trained military’. These terrorists rarely go in completely untrained, so I’m sure they had training. But they certainly didn’t look like Chechnyian special forces type guys. They moved rather slowly like they were inexperienced in combat imo.
ETA: watched a couple more. Obviously some countries training is not up to American training but those guys definitely are not highly trained.
Also, I envisioned a Russia Concert hall as a glamorous event. This looked more like a middle class watching a movie or something similar. Not really a special event type of thing I mean. POS terrorists just found a large crowd of random people, I thought maybe it was a political gathering possibly.

This was a concert for a Russian band called Picnic. They hadn’t yet started. This was also in the outskirts of Moscow, so much like you’d see in a suburban area concert hall.
Also, the band has committed to paying all funeral costs and medical bills

The one video I saw there’s a guy that looks to be without a gun and just a backpack walking along side a guy with a gun. Likely carrying explosives or whatever.
Also, reports were this was a concert for a band named “Picnic”.
I’d assume a large concert would have some sort of police presence?

In one of the videos, looks like they took care of the security at the main entrance, where there were many metal detectors too. Also, “large” is subjective. Based on the videos from inside, looks like maybe 5,000 people max? I wouldn’t necessarily call that a “large concert”

All the angles except for Ukraine unilaterally doing this make sense
- Vanilla ISIS terror
- Russia false flag (the Putin special)
- Western intel involvement
If Western intel played a part it is some real 3D chess because "we" told Putin about the threat which specifically included concerts and he addressed it and shrugged it off as "Western blackmail" (I don't know how well that translated) in an address earlier this week.

It would be dumber than usual for the US to have had a hand in this.

That’s fair. It kinda looks like a shopping mall, almost like a movie theater type of place in a shopping mall. Just surprising police didn’t get there sooner. There’s multiple videos with the terrorists just standing around and moving slowly.

Yea, I don’t know the seating capacity, but as a local/regional comparable my brain jumped straight to Mahalia Jackson here in nola as the style of venue
Not Carnegie hall or the met but a solid middle class venue that can host anything from orchestra to top 40 music and a few fundraisers or graduations in between
Unless the event had a particularly rowdy crowd you would expect almost exclusively unarmed private security and not a noteworthy police presence - no idea cultural norms around that there
just imagining the comparable situation locally the image of the last concert I attended there is what was in my head

Yea, that’s what I meant by my comment of it not being a “large venue.” Not sure why it was downvoted

I’m pretty sure there’s 4-5 churches up here North of Atlanta that have the type of capacity as that concert hall. Around 5k people. Our church only has 2 police officers inside and 1 directing traffic

We've seen this before. It is definitely in the Putin playbook.

Do we have an updated casualty count?

Not reading 12 pages. This was done at the hands of those people that worship a pedophile right?
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for this attack, which has reportedly claimed 133 lives so far. Russia supported Syria against the Islamic State, and helped beat them back.

If the american government or someone they are supporting financially was behind this, what would your reaction be?

Official death count is up to 133 per the AP quoting whatever official Russian agency is in charge of that.
