LSU Basketball released its 2024-25 roster on Tuesday, and a noticeable addition was freshman tight end Trey'dez Green, who will look to contribute on the hardwood for the Tigers during his first year in Baton Rouge.

Green, a 6-7, 237-pound athlete from Jackson, La., was a highly recruited five-star tight end coming out of Zachary High School.

He will wear No. 14 for Football and No. 8 for Basketball.

I guess I haven't paid attention to basketball in a good minute, but I thought the numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 were omitted from college basketball jerseys due to the referees needing to be able to indicate a player's number with one hand. When did this change? Or was I wrong all these years?

They changed that rule last year. Now 0-99 are legal numbers. Poor refs.
