I was expecting them to all be wearing matching sports bras.

So which one of these five guys is Nuss’s “Lineman” (singular)?

I think we might be looking at what will go down as the goat Oline at LSU. From the first round bookend tackles to the phenom sophomore center, to go with a pair of guards who could work their way into the second or third rounds, just a phenomenal collection of offensive line talent, who also has the benefit of playing an awful lot of snaps together already.
I think we are primed to go back to a traditional running game as well. Pairing a quick strike QB and wideouts with a running game that can chew the clock will do wonders for a defense that still needs time to develop and come together, but an Oline like our can mask a lot of deficiencies.

Where do you put Whitworth on that list?

He had a great NFL career but curious how good he was at LSU.

Emery Jones has really transformed his body

It looks like his body transformed as well. He looks taller than when he came in. He’s probably around 6’6” or better now. But he absolutely looks thinner and longer. Just more athletic than when he got here. He’s a great RT. Not only these guys but their backups are all solid dudes. I think it’s easily the best collective OL talent ever at LSU. At least since the 2000’s. It’s the deepest I’ve ever seen it. It looks like they are now turning to the DL and when we have this type of depth on the DL, we’ll be right with and I think even better than Georgia. Just because it’s very true, Louisiana culture is just different. I guess we’ll find out when the time comes.

With the possible exception of #13, that is a group of very large human beings....
