EWE said it right, they might change parties in LA, but they don’t change their mindset.

At least we won't have any homosexual books in our libraries.

We definitely need to take notes from them
Absolutely, it’s unbelievable what they’ve done with reclaiming land and in Rotterdam. It’s a shame we didn’t, and haven’t send people over there ever since their projects started bearing fruit.

This is more on Landry than CPRA. He wants to consolidate CPRA with DNR.

FOLLOW THE MONEY!
1. Make the diversion...who gets that $3 billion?
2. Don't make the diversion... who gets the $3 billion?
Looks like option 2 people have taken control.

Landry has already said the 3 billion is going to reparations

If you live South of lake Pontchartrain the time is short.

Reclaiming land is not a problem. The problem is the opportunity cost of doing it. And the money should be a concern, but we don’t care in the US about that.

His most redeeming quality was that he would "stick it to the libs" and that's good enough for the vast majority of this state
And Landry had been to Mar-a-Lago. Don't forget about that. A trip to Lago in this state is far more important than where a candidate stands on actual policy. For eight years, I read post after post on this board whining about the trial lawyers who supported and aided JBE. Same group also supported Landry. Crickets.

There really is not much to learn about how mother nature acts. Scientists have studied it for 50 years and still get it wrong lol

This state is ran by incompetent idiots no matter the party. Legitimately some of the stupidest people alive.

Some are stupid and incompetent, the rest are in it for themselves. Make no mistake, there might be 5 politicians out of 1000s that actually have the people in mind.
If someone offered me 10mil dollars to turn down the diversion, there wouldn't be a diversion.

I used to work at LSU center for river studies and let me tell you this...the data..does..not..lie. it is a shame how entire teams of university professors, grad students, and engineering firms have true complete scientific evidence stating how devastating this threat is and then you have a bunch of these arse clowns in office (who quite frankly have no earthly idea what they are talking about) ruin all of it.
What does the data say? Do you have links?

I'm talking about knuckleheads.
There are fishermen etc who would be thrilled with the prospect of catching reds closer to home.
Yes, they are dumb as a pile of bricks.

Is this another project money was wasted on that isn't going to be complete?

Maybe you can answer my question… How much storm surge does the diversion reduce?

2. Don't make the diversion... who gets the $3 billion?
Most of the $3B is coming from the feds and from the Deepwater Horizon settlement... all of which have restrictions relating to the money needs to be used for coastal restoration.
So I'm guessing the $3B will go to dredging companies, barging/trucking companies, and pipeline construction companies as we will start trying to dredge the dirt out of the river, and barge / truck / pipe it to try to build land elsewhere.
