What a the talent he could attract at USC and when he was at Tennessee? Lane has had elite talent before and has never gotten it done forget on a consistent basis he’s never got it done period.

No idea. But it looks f'cked up. Like, bad policing. And it could be completely innocuous. But now some lawyer is going to have a field day with everything connected to the investigation. (as he should)

That’s what I was thinking. Like obviously lacy was gone, maybe everyone had said the same thing and he just wanted to make sure to get that on everyone’s report.

But you’re right…it definitely looks bad, and to anyone with not much knowledge of the situation you’d think it was a smoking gun for a set up.

It sucks because had this moved forward it likely gets plead down or the charges lowered and he's playing in the NFL in 2026.

Maybe and that’s a big maybe. You still have to take into account if anything comes from the altercation with him and his sister as well. Also to assume he wouldn’t have any other incidents popping up is unlikely.

I wish it would have gone that way and that he could have gotten the help he needed. But to assume he’d be an NFL star or even player if this one thing went differently is short sighted.

There's a pretty awesome 15sec video of a trooper coaching a witness to make sure his statement coincided with the report they had drawn up.

I saw that, why did the cop say that?

So you think the “big money boosters” want to lose?

No, but the advertisers do they lobby for their million dollar (or whatever) investment to stay on the field garnering eyeballs, as opposed to on the bench.

I don’t think it’s a 100% sure thing, if he plays bad enough he will get benched. What I’m saying is if you take this situation and put it back 10 years ago, Nuss gets more time before he gets benched today than 2015.

Pft I’m not reading all that

Thanks for letting us know
First of all his dads name ain’t that big lol he has regressed significantly since just last year. He was on some people’s preseason heisman lists.
It matters. I don’t think it’s the only reason but it absolutely buys Nuss more time than say if it were pre NIL era.

If there ever was a rule of college football its don’t piss off the big money boosters, this is x100 in the NIL era.

Next time we need another 500k to outbid Michigan for a QB and the booster says why do you can bench him a month into the season.

I doubt this was necessarily BK's intention, but I think this statement will be additional fuel to the fire with the fanbase if Nuss struggles against SC and doesn't get pulled. With that being said, I think Nuss will play well this week because he knows he needs to.

I disagree. BK and everyone in that locker room 100% knows the buzz around the program ab wanting to pull Nuss.

He could have said MVB had a great week of practice without specifically using the words he used. I think this is him covering his arse if he has to pull him. And I’m not just talking about John Q fan. I’m talking about the people contributing to Nuss NIL, the people paying him for endorsements around town(paying QB1 price for QB2 ad power), and John Q Fan.

The other two things that are happening are he is a complete idiot and didnt realize how inflammatory wording it like that would be or he purposefully wants to feed the flames…not sure which of those would be worse.

Not the next time Nuss struggles, but the next time he is struggling and the game is on the line, we see MVB get a shot.

If not the first question in the presser has gotta be why didn’t the guy who looked like a starter in practice during the bye week get a series or 2.

Is it better than nothing yes, but offer them $10 bonus or any cash instead…I bet most would take the cash.

Kelly said he wasn't prepared for them dropping 8.

I didn’t hear him say this, but this alone should get him strung up.

You haven’t been able to run the ball effectively all year. If you don’t expect them to drop 8 you are not supposed to be coaching at this level.

You could say I wasn’t prepared for them to sack the QB rushing 3. That is something to be shocked about.
After the game, in his post game he flat out said Nuss is healthy. I didn’t hear any comments after that.
Between that Florida rant and last night I really lost alot of respect (for lack of a better word) for him.

I didn’t love the hire from the get go, and I’m not calling for his head yet but I don’t think he’s the one who gets it done.

His record vs ranked and top 10 teams is proof he doesn’t get it done when he doesn’t have the advantage of superior athletes.

Also fans/media are allowed to ask questions. When you lose a game like we lost yesterday, you should come out with bullet points of things that are wrong and how you plan to fix it. And all we got was “complimentary football” WTF.

I’ve got very little faith on him righting the ship the rest of the way through when our head coach thinks our biggest problem is we gotta play good on both sides of the ball at the same time.
I wish Sloan would have switched his play calls to short passes and runs before halftime. When the second quarter was like 3/4 over, I told my dad Sloan is as much at fault as Nuss if he keeps calling these deep routes and going 3 and out.

Thankfully he changed his play calling pretty significantly to start the second half.

I don’t love Sloan but I’m not screaming to fire him. The O line is inept, we can’t run the ball, the WRs are dropping way WAY too many balls, and Nuss is having tons of problems.
He’s been getting worst…he should have 3 picks by now.

That last throw was into triple coverage
Three games in and three games back lol.

Mentioning us and winning the division should be enough to get you committed

Shocked CBS has not switched games yet

Is rather watch San Fran and Cardinals at this point. Hey here’s Shough

Kamara is wasting away and saints need draft picks.

I love kamara and would hate to see him in another uniform but the fact of the matter is he is 32 yo RB. Not highly valued position and he’s on the wrong side of 30. I don’t see anyone giving up much for him.
No way we get a first for a 32 year old RB. I agree Sean would pay more than others but not near a first
If I’ve gotta hear about the great athleticism to keep his legs up…bull shite you can’t change the rate at what you fall to the ground. Great play sure but Jesus Christ.
