Kinda... You could fish the back side of the rocks before Katrina totally wiped that area out. The East Timbalier Island was mostly intact through 1992, but never fully wrapped in rocks.

Correct. We built a 10,000 bbl tank battery there in the late 70’s for Gulf Oil there.
Timbalier Island and Isle Denieres was where I spent most of my free time during the summer when I was kid in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Everything was different.
