And this shite ain't country music either, it's some shitblend of hip hop and bro country.

I have a soft spot for Shania because my mom loved her. But you named the two people that basically turned country music into the pop music that it is today

You really are a piece of shite. Every thread you post in is left wing garbage. All this after all the praise Tracy Chapman just got by all these racist rednecks you hate.

People like you are why this country will never be able to unite. Keep making bullshite statements then playing the victim.

I thought it was fine. Has some catchy parts. As country as anything else you hear on the radio these days. Not my cup of tea but neither is the rest of current top 40 country music

Beyoncé Becomes First Black Woman To Top Country Music Chart

Not hating on Beyonce, because she does make good music, but the Country charts have been shite since at least 2000.

Also does the CMA's have to give her an award now? Could you imagine her being the first black woman to top the charts and not get one? Jay Z and others already go after any white woman who beats her for an award trying to insinuate it's race based. Could you imagine if she doesn't get at least one CMA or 'New Artist of the Year" off her country album after one song hit #1?!

I took it has her tying to win a grammy for Album of the Year by doing something different.

Though she will be head to head with Taylor Swift again since Swift releasing another album this year.

Charley Pride did it 29 times from 1966 through the 80s.

Some talking head host tried to bait Charley into some racial bullshite once. He wasn't having any of it.

90s country was the last good decade.

If she did country in the 90s, people would get mad thinking she was mocking country music or laugh her off the stage.

She actually plays the banjo and viola on this song.

It's not much different than most of the bro "country" that's out there now. Not my cup of tea.

Cultural appropriation…
But it originated from black slaves lol

quote:

The black influence on country music starts with the banjo, which often conjures the hazy image of a white pastoral South. But the instrument is a descendant of West African lutes, made from gourds, that were brought to America by slaves and which became a central part of slave music and culture in the South.

Beyoncé is to country music as Texas A&M is to winning big three sports national championships. It doesn’t work.

Now if Jamie Foxx was to dip into the country music genre, he could make it work. He has incredible musical ability. His tribute to George Strait on one of his songs was amazing. Foxx is from Texas and could write some material and perform it in a way that would be more convincing than what Beyoncé is doing.

Everyone’s discriminated against. It’s human nature. Get over it. You do yourself no favors with victim mentality. Man up and move on.
