Missouri is a dump of a state. Other than KC on the MO side, the Show-Me-Nothing State is a giant landfill.
I’m sure you’ll not get any love from Stan Kroenke, a Missouri alum. He got the hell out of Missouri and took the Rams with him.
I was at the 2004 Sugar Bowl. I think the meanness/trashiness behavior wasn’t necessarily LSU fans but from Louisianans who were celebrating how big a deal it was to have this big of moment in the state’s history. Outside of the 1958 title, and not counting the 90s CWS titles, this was the biggest thing to happen in Louisiana sports history and the state contingency was there for it.

There were plenty of LSU fans we ran into who were awesome, inviting, and just glad to be playing a program of that caliber but knowing they were equally as good or better.

Oklahoma City has a ton to offer. It’s just a short drive from Norman.

You can possibly see the reigning NBA champions in action.

Midtown
Classen Curve
Plaza District
Asian District
Deep Deuce
Bricktown
Automobile Alley

Plenty of casinos around Norman

A lot of excellent cuisine

There’s much to do. Obviously it’s not NOLA but there’s options.

You should request to delete this thread or remove Arkansas, Missouri, Texas A&M from the list then redo the totals. These threads are cringeworthy because of the known embarrassing history against the SEC in NCG/CFP matchups.
Just go to 1966 and you’ll have your answer.
Wow! Talk about a Blast From The Past!
You are sadly mistaken. Norman has a lot of character and there’s plenty to do, especially the close proximity to OKC. The only negative on Norman is abundant liberal stench.
My Top Five:

1. Michael Jordan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Shaquille O’Neal
4. Tim Duncan
5. Dirk Nowitzki

Let’s Take A Look at 1976 Missouri

Imagine being a Missouri fan during this time. One should truly wonder how good this team really was despite the overall record; three massive road wins and an overall tough schedule.

Great. Thanks for the jinx. Technically, the game is a rivalry. They used to play for a Peace Pipe. It was lost sometime in the seventies. Bring back the Peace Pipe!!!

It’s quite blurry but it looks like an Oklahoma win.

Texas Tech just has the one loss and are in contention for a CCG berth. Notre Dame’s two losses were early and have made up ground since then. Sooners, although in great shape, are still treading carefully since one more loss will basically eliminate them from the CFP. They are gaining traction with the two big road wins.

But at least it’s a program that has a history of national championships, unlike Fayetteville.
I sure hope the Aggies faithful aren’t losing sleep over this. Texas A&M is CFP bound and is a national championship threat.

It’s an opinion, an eye test. A G5 team isn’t necessary just for a ranking. Obviously one gets in, in the end.
