Beyoncé continues to break barriers.
One year after becoming the artist with the most Grammy wins in history, the Houston-born superstar has notched what once may have seemed an even more unattainable record: becoming the first Black woman to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Her song “Texas Hold ‘Em,” released February 11, debuted at the top of the Hot Country Songs list.
I didn't think much of it. But what do I know.

Pretty good song. If it was by Carrie underwood, the OT would be singing praises

Taylor Swift is not a country singer, but Beyoncé is.

Why was this thought to be unattainable? Charley Pride did it 29 times from 1966 through the 80s.

Some people can't leave anything alone.

"Kiss an Angel Good Morning" all-time, GOAT Country song!

Beyoncé is garbage. Apparently being a 32x Grammy Winner is not enough and that the governing body is racist because she has never won Album of the Year.

People thought Kenny Rogers killed country in the 80s with his pop hybridization. People thought Chet Atkins killed country in the sixties when he started producing songs with full orchestra arrangements. Hell some people thought Hank Williams was an abomination.
Haven't heard the Beyonce song. Can't say whether it's any good or not. But people have been bitching about this kind of thing for nearly a hundred years.

Lil nas X makes really good music. Sad racists and bigots can’t appreciate it without their eyes turning red
