It would be interesting to know if Max would be third string now if he stayed at LSU. I am sure the Nuss fan boys think yes.

Already happened when Clausen transferred from LSU to Tenn and then the 3rd string UT QB came back to Baton Rouge and beat LSU.

It’s amazing how Max Johnson somehow ends up the starting QB no matter what the circumstances might have been to start the season. I belyeve he’s going to play well for A&M too. He’s got 3 really damn good WR and he takes care of the ball for the most part even if he doesn’t have big arm it’s still accurate and he’s not afraid to step up into the pocket and deliver a ball knowing he’s going to take a hit.

Max Johnson the gun slinger and Bobby Petrino the OC would be an absolute nightmare to try and defend if they can mesh together. They play Arkansas this week so we'll get more of an idea of how they'll look.

Some A&M people on their board were saying he can redshirt this year. I don’t think that’s correct… he’s played in all 4 games this year.
