People who don’t let others merge are worthless vermin, unworthy of driving privileges.

Every morning, I go to merge onto the expressway, and every morning, some a-hole hugs the car in front of them to prohibit me from doing so.
Why can’t people just be friendly and accommodating to their fellow man? We’re all just trying to get to work, man. Your used Kia is not entitled to the roadway anymore than my Ford.
More often than not, it’s a black female. But I am trying to avoid sounding racist or sexist. It’s all kinds of people. The traffic is moving slowly at rush hour, and these motherfrickers act like they own the road and I’m trying to rape their grandmother. Seriously, I hope they all die in a car fire.

I’m the guy when it goes to one lane I’ll get in the middle to prevent assholes cutting. I’m always nice and let ppl merge or get in front by flashing my lights.

Pro tip: cut off a Tesla, if available. Their camera sensors force the car to stop and let you in.

Louisiana drivers are the worst.
They drive too slow, lack basic understanding of basic driving techniques, and take it as a personal affront if you pass them.

The worse are people pulling onto multi lane road were the turn lane is the beginning of another lane, but yet they stop because they want to merge into left lanes so they can quickly turn. Don’t be selfish just drive up to a further turnaround and come back.

Same. If you drove past the end of the actual merging point to where you are on the gravel side there’s no way I’m letting you over. Quit thinking you’re special and should get to drive past people and merge 10 cars ahead

Except that’s how merges were designed to run most efficiently. People merging at the end.
The main reason they don’t work as efficiently as designed is idiots not letting people merge over at the very end.

There is a left lane ends sign. I'm in the right lane. You fricking act surprised 1/4 mile later, like IATA. Die.
Zipper merge, blah, blah, you can tell they never saw the sign, and these are likely people that drive the same roads multiple times per week.
If you're rolling near, at or above the speed limit, and you're trying, you get grace. Otherwise, FOff, I'll end up behind your dumb arse riding next to a camper van up I-45 for the next 18 miles at 57 in a 70.

It makes me feel good to be courteous and accommodating while driving. I feel like I am able to make someone else’s day be a little less stressful for them in some small way. Maybe restore their faith in humanity a little bit.
