Not even close. PA to MA are the worst, and they won't let you in. Baltimore is bad too. When you go around their bypass, traffic slows to a near stop at every exit because they won't let people merge in.

The worst are people that pull out of a business and try to cross 3 lanes of traffic when they could have exited business on the other side and used a traffic light. Retards

Louisiana drivers are the worst. They drive too slow, lack basic understanding of basic driving techniques, and take it as a personal affront if you pass them.

There has been a stark difference since the move. And it’s obvious because of the insurance rates as well.

Only now I have to deal with any MD drivers that get lost on this side of the Potomac…

Yeah this tracks. No shame in calling it like it is. They often times drive with spite judging by the condition of their vehicles too.

They’re probably going the speed limit and using all of the available highway while you’re pissed off that you fricked up and merged early.

I very much prefer to go to the end before merging. Going to the end gets me in front of all those people who didn’t go to the end. By getting in front of them, I beat them, and I prefer to be a winner. Don’t kid yourself and think that there won’t be a space for me to merge. There is ALWAYS a space for me to merge.

Counterpoint: people who frick the natural flow of traffic up unnecessarily are worthless and unworthy of driving privileges.

needlessly causing conditions for wrecks so they can feel good about themselves

The amount of clapped out Altimas that weave through traffic missing bumpers amazes me. It's a common car and always in bad shape. I'm at the point now where I avoid Nissans on the road.

Up until three years ago I drove a Nissan — towards the end of ownership, I couldn’t believe how much it cost insure it. It was outrageously expensive and I think we all know why…

Yes, I also avoid all Altimas, Sentras, Versas, Rogues and most Maximas like the plague. The more pieces of the vehicle missing/damaged, the more I stay away.

Bingo. And people will sit there and allow them to do it

Since you drive a ford, the Kia was probably afraid you'd break down in front of him, therefore he was being prudent by making you go behind him.

Are you driving the speed limit? The point of an on ramp is to get up to speed of traffic. I’m not letting people in driving 50 on the on ramp if the speed limit is 70

that's literally what a zipper merge is

Up to 4 pages now, but no one in this thread that supports the "late zipper merge" has explained why they couldn't get over sooner, rather than waiting until the last moment.

There's a reason the lane to merge to is full. Those folks have already merged.

Agreed - unless the person trying to merge is a stupid MFer who hasn't accelerated to highway speeds to merge seamlessly (or at least somewhat smoothly). Too many idiots who slow down, or even come to a complete stop, at the end of the merge ramp rather than accelerating and blending into traffic.

I get on at Acadian heading downtown every morning. I can tell you those co-eds aren't giving up that right lane for anyone! Not missing the Dalrymple exit on a dare.

Every morning, I go to merge onto the expressway, and every morning, some a-hole hugs the car in front of them to prohibit me from doing so.

Why can’t people just be friendly and accommodating to their fellow man? We’re all just trying to get to work, man. Your used Kia is not entitled to the roadway anymore than my Ford.

More often than not, it’s a black female. But I am trying to avoid sounding racist or sexist. It’s all kinds of people. The traffic is moving slowly at rush hour, and these motherfrickers act like they own the road and I’m trying to rape their grandmother. Seriously, I hope they all die in a car fire.

Alright then i let you in you better give me my Courtesy Wave!

You need to watch this video so that you quit fricking up the traffic a-hole.
