I want major reform/cleanup, but I know I won’t get it in my lifetime. I’ll settle for a re-energized Catholic community doing goods things here. I think we could use more of that.

I’m with you
The reform however will NOT come from the papacy. The Church must reform herself from within. Priests and ultimately the Pope are simply reflections of the people in the church. The guy in the golden box is still the point. When the men of our church are set ablaze and are unapologetically Catholic, the church transforms.
I’ve witnessed it on a local level twice now. It starts at the Parish, grows to the diocese, and ultimately spreads from there
The one thing that I need to finally help me completely divorce myself from any joy related to college sports is a presidential commission.
Total political points play.
I voted for the man twice but I gotta admit he’s a two bit Huey P Long wanna be.
I mean
You have those just hangin around in your history and you choose to wear ANYTHING else???

Those hit all the marks for amazing uniforms
This one was easy to see coming
Question is will the next guy get enough NIL support to build an roster there that can win to their desired level
I agree with you almost completely.
The one thing I’d say is that the SEC is ridiculously tough this year.
We have enough pitching to get out of a regional. The issue is the super regional draw
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate just how good of a coach Jim Schloss is?
I mean from what I can tell he’s a tool but dang it his teams are always immediately better when he’s on the job

LSU better not take this one lightly.
The Pokes are VERY physical and throw a lot of big funky arms at you. LSU is obviously the better team here but they are not to be trifled with

Name me 8 better SEC ballparks.

The only thing making this close to not being bottom half is the addition of UT and OU. Finally expansion helps LSU out

1. Baum Walker
2. Dudy Noble
3. Swayze
4. Bluebell Park
5. Founders
6. Lindsey Nelson
7. Plainsman Park
8. Floridas new park

If we’re strictly talking looks nicer and we ignore capacity then you can go ahead and add Vandy’s park to that list too.
I’m not confident at all.
I’m pretty sickened by it in fact. I’m not rich at all. Midddle class built a nice nest egg but it’s getting hammered. My only solace is that I have time to recover

owners. Might be a bad owner, but sounds like a nice guy.

May be a nice guy but they don’t make money on parking because their location does t allow for them to have their own parking facilities very easily

It does seem insanely risky, though. Hopefully, markets settle down soon.

It has much more risky implications than the markets.
It is if you’re talking about culture.
No one on this board will say it because it feels too much to them like they’d be admitting that the conference is close to the SEC in quality of play (it’s not).

When you consider location, competitive balance, what sports are valued, and the relative quality of play it is SEC lite
MLB tries harder than any other sport to be unpopular

Good news is that it’s working
100% of those city connect unis are abominable
The biggest misconception out there is that the government prints money. With the establishment of the Federal Reserve, the government no longer “owns” our currency. The Fed is NOT a part of the government. They are a conglomerate of the biggest banks, with significant influence from the government, who print Federal Reserve Notes (dollars).
So when you hear “printing money” the Fed is adding the number of notes available in the market.
When you hear “borrowing money” the government is receiving a loan from the Federal Reserve.

Obviously there’s a LOT more to it but I’m just trying to talk about the Federal Reserve’s role in our currency management
It’s only unreal on TigerDroppings
Normal baseball people recognize that baseball is a long game, that guys tend to improve the longer they are in a good college program, and they know that the biggest jump is usually Freshman to Sophomore year
I grew up in the 80s-90s. Where I grew up there were 100s of men who left for a week or 2 or a time to work offshore in the oil and gas industry. That industry is now dead. Those were really good high paying jobs. They also gave young men out of high school or college a great place to start their careers
