As to the name shite, I’d make sure, in a very legal way, that the mom and the new stick toy know clearly that you and only you are her Dad. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to let the little girl know that you are her dad and she doesn’t need to call this jackass dad, but just remember this, at 3 she has no idea what’s going on. Be there early and often for her and as she gets older she’ll know
