If your talking Bon Scott era, I completely agree. To me AC/DC was never the same without him.

I’ve always said they are Rock’s pinnacle.

With Bon Scott.

I used to listen to “Whole Lotta Rosie” to get me hyped up before I’d go on stage.

With that said, a lot of AC/DC songs are kinda boring, just simple power chords. Doesn’t mean they’re bad. Gen Z REALLY hates AC/DC for some reason, and I think it’s because they never saw live clips.

If I want to get to bed at a decent hour, I absolutely cannot go down this rabbit hole. AC/DC, Maiden, o shite, it's 0430! Arena videos are leading to my early death due to lack of sleep.

Stick this in your fuse box Live Wire.

Those Marshalls, recorded dry, sound beautiful.

I can't really debate this statement. I will say, though, that 70s Aerosmith is pretty badass rock and roll. If you want to immerse yourself in 70s Hard Rock, just play Toys in The Attic and Rocks back to back and I think you'll get the picture. It does the trick.

Rolling Stones.

Now, if you would have said epitomizes Hard Rock. None, nada. So simple but awesome. A Gibson SG cranked on 11.

I agree that they were different, but they were still incredible with Brian Johnson. Back in Black is an iconic album. “Stiff Upper Lip” is probably my favorite song of theirs.

Any band that does not have a screeching lead singer is a better band

So most of the big rock bands live, Stones, Aerosmith, Page and Plant, ZZ Tops etc. Saw AC/DC in the mid 90s and it was ubelievable. No one since has compared. The greatest live show Ive ever seen. Angus was pure energy and Brian Johnson was a fantastic frontman. Unreal show.
