I would ask which one you're watching but apparently both are awful.
TPUSA show is significantly better

So ironic a punk band would be pro-establishment. Caricature of themselves.

Yea...not sure the average illegal has the funds to attend the SB
I mean...most of the people I hang out with leave the TV on while they piss, get some beer and eat away from the show. Just because the TV is tuned to that channel, doesn't mean people actually watch the performers.

Grown mine out for the past 5 years after retiring. Starting to thin on top just slightly, but its pretty long. I just dgaf and really hate spending $30 bucks a month and travel time to a shop to keep it nice. Once I can't pull it off with thinning on top, I'll buzz it all off and grow the beard long.

Guy must have some serious kung-fu grip. I don't see his wrist move from recoil or the muzzle flip.
I drove a 79 Camaro on 281 between Canyon Lake and San Antonio back in the 80's. Got it a bit over 120 before blowing a spark plug out the side of the engine.

My man uses these daily
My son is about to enter into an ophthalmology surgery residency. He has used robotic assisted devices for surgery. That is one thing, but having robby the robot doing your surgery,,,danger danger. Musk may be correct that it is POSSIBLE that such a thing can be accomplished, but you have to get by the regulations set in place by the AMA, FDA, unions, insurance companies to actually have this be a thing. These entities will defend their occupation through legislation until enough evidence exists that it is infallible and cheap for them. I call 15-20 years when all us old geezers that don't trust robots die off.
re: Good news for Starlink users! Fiber speeds incoming.

I used Starlink since beta, out of necessity. Live on a mountain with DSL or SL as the only option. We recently got fiber up the road and switched because its 3x the speed and 1/2 the price. Starlink offered half the rate after I cancelled which would be comparable pricewise, but hey why was that not the rate from the start?
I went through 3 dishes because hail x SL dish works out in mother natures favor. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the service, besides the 3-4 weeks it took to get replacement dishes. If it is the best option then I would have no problem staying with SL.

My spouse got the kids a few things, but anything I want/need is stuff that costs $$$. I don't need another hat or socks from my kids. I just told them don't worry about it. They live in different states anyway, so won't be hanging out for Christmas. Even if I had an unlimited budget, probably would still not care to participate in buying a bunch of junk.

They pool resources and live with two or three families.
When I was working at HEB in decent area of NW Austin, we had a large number of Pakistanis in the surrounding neighborhoods. It became obvious that many were living as multi generational or family situations under one roof. It was not uncommon to see up to 15 people in our database with the same address. These were generally 3 bedrooms averaging about 2200 sqft.
It's been this way for years. There are several issues with this, first being the poor communication that occurs when you have a patient, pharmacy, PBM and a doctor all involved. Four entities that don't have a singular ability to see who has the ball in their court.
Doctors rarely ever bother to check who presides over your prescription insurance and will just write you an rx without seeing if its covered or in what tier it is. Takes him a second to write this. Rx gets to the pharmacy who runs the rx and it will go through if its on your insurance formulary. If it doesn't go through, you get a rejection message (which hardly ever helps about why its not covered) and subsequently try and contact the dr to change to something covered.
This can be the start of the shitshow where you now have to rely on your dr to contact the insurance and not sit on their hands. This can take 1-3 days in a dr's office where the staff isn't making tiktok vids or It can take up to 7-10 days in a poorly run office.
If your dr. checked the box "brand only" on the rx, its worse because brands are not typically covered and if they happen to be, they are a high copay. Dr could have avoided this mess by learning to write for generics or at the least write a backup rx for a generic treatment option .
Ex: Dr's like to write for Prevpac's to treat GERD. Its a brand product with three different drugs combined and has no generic equivalent. Its rarely covered, but he could write out 3 separate rx's for the 3 drugs in a Prevpac that are all usually $5 each. You essentially wait for the dr and PBM to hash it out. If any group involved fails at getting things done, its just a back and forth while you wait.
PBM's also have complicated cascades for treatment. They don't want to pay for things that are essentially the same treatment, but where a cheaper way is available (ie the Prevpac example). They will also like to see you treated first with standard therapy that is tried and true and most likely the cheaper route. Once you have checked off these first line therapies and they have not worked, the PBM will start to pay for more expensive treatments. They want to see the cheapest approach tried first before paying for brands, whether or not its the best option for you.
For sure, the entire insurance system created by PBM's gets worse year after year with more headaches and less coverage. In the end though, the largest issue is people not answering faxes, emails and phones. As the years went by, I had a phones stuck to my head 80% of the day trying to get things moving for patients. Its why I don't do it anymore.
