In all areas, including Cajun food. Don’t believe me, put some Cholula Chili Garlic on that gumbo.

They both have their place, but its not called josetouffee.

Zatarain's is pretty good stuff.
I use Cholula chipotle in my wing sauce though.
1 cup Zatarain's
1/2 cup Cholula chipotle
6 tblsp butter
1 tblsp minced garlic
Bring to a boil for a minute or two and Emulsify with a hand blender.
Good for 20 or so wings, probably a few more.

If it has tomatoes in it sure, why not it's not gumbo. If it's Cajun Gumbo WTH are you talking about ?

I've participated in a Mexican hot sauce tatsing and I prefer Tapatio over the others. I haven't tried them in gumbo though.

It depends on the usage.

Take two dashes of this in your gumbo. If you still feel the same, get back to me in the morning.

Hell no. And I love Cholula. But I do not usually put it on cajun food.

Mexican hot sauce and Louisiana hot sauce both have their places but Valentina's is good on damn near anything.

In a blind taste test, I'm going flavor over heat. Louisiana Hot Sawce > Cholula.

My go to for hot sauce:
Old bay has a good one too (not Mexican)

I have to respectfully disagree. Just look at the ingredient labels.
Typical LA hot sauces are remarkably beautiful in their simplicity. Not only taste better but minus all the artificial stuff in Mexican versions. Like sodium benzoate, etc.

Mufuka, Sriracha is better on Mexican food than Mexican hot sauce. How the shite can Mexican hot sauce be better on Cajun food or anything else than Louisiana hot sauce???? Please tell me you are just trolling? I could respect that.
