Isn’t the largest lawn in Dallas about 1/16 of an acre? Battery powered mower can easily handle that.

There are a bunch of posters on here who constantly bleat that it is just the conservatives moving.

I haven’t seen the most recent data but the Cruz v Beto data showed most of Beto’s support came from longer registered (ie Texas) voters than new voters. The new (California) voters favored Cruz by double digits.

Yep, and the worst part, is that the republican mayor's and governor's have welcomed them and told them to come to tejas for jobs cheaper housing, and being free from California's stupid. Laws.

Those dumbasses brought them enemy to their own homes and neighborhoods to shite on logical laws and rules, and vote in stupidity.

Once they turn tejas purple this country is fricked. Rest of us can't save the country.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Chargers go roaring their engines at 200 dBs all across town.

But hey, at least you don’t have to listen to my Ryobi.

Who doesn't love fricking around with an 80cc blower strapped to their back? You can move bricks down the driveway.

That new dewalt electric zero turn that converts from standing to seated in seconds seems to be impressive.

Personally I’m a big fan of the thriving metropolis of Stephenville, texas.

This is the elephant in the room. Abbott and Perry pushed those huge corporations to come here. Sure it brought jobs, growth, etc. but it will be the death of Texas.

Everyone wants the myth of the country manor in suburbia but just as long as someone else pays for it or does the slave work?

When these people are fully and totally outsourced to India they might have trouble hiring the blue shirt dudes eith sleeve tattoos who have been insulated from outsourcing.

The battery powered lawn equipment makes just as much noise

The fact this has a 2:1 upvote ratios baffles me. There are hundreds of SPL tests across the internet and it isn't even close. The only way someone could perceive similar electric lawn machines as being as loud as gas is if they have severe hearing deficits at certain frequencies since the would emissions have higher peaks at different frequencies.

J.R. Ewing would never allow this to happen.

Y'all aren't sick of all that racket? Definitely some people in Dallas who could stand to do some intense raking, too. Do we need a fancy gadget for everything?

I bought a ryobi blower.

It still makes noise. If you were saying something to me I wouldn’t hear you.

do you really want to take a poll on what kind of noise people do and don’t want to hear?

I wouldn’t say louder. But if my music is too loud and I turn it down, it still could be too loud.

Seems all of those California transplants didn't leave their political agendas behind when they moved to Texas after all.

Californians aren't moving to Dallas proper. They're moving to Denton and Collin Counties. Dallas has been a minority-led leftist shithole for a while now.

For the next serious ice storm, arrest anyone who uses a gas powered chain saw.

Five years later when the fallen limbs are rotted to compost and termite condos, ask again.

me. i don’t mind it at all.

it’s the sound of my neighbors taking pride in their home and yards. Something you wouldn’t know anything about.

I never though I would end my life as a disobedient rebel, but it has apparently been thrust upon me.
