I assume it depends somewhat on relationship with the host.

06:30. And then assemble for morning calisthenics. You can eat after the four mile fun run.

8/9 seems sufficient. Although if you sleep until 12:30 be ready to fight, and don’t expect any bacon unless your wife delivers it to you in bed

I typically wait until after my brother in law has thrown away the bacon.

Sunrise. There's likely some work to help out with.

Depends on the relationship and purpose of visit. Also if the host is planning to make breakfast.

If you there to visit family and do stuff during the day, and the host makes breakfast, I’d say anytime between 6:30-8:30. Anything after 9 and you are being rude.

Oh, I’m talking about adults, not teens or college kids

When you hear noises outside your room. Or, in my case when your BiL starts banging around the kitchen at 6am "trying to be quiet."

Get up around 9 and head to the gym while you let the women and weak men play in the kitchen

Make sure you dress, comb hair, brush teeth before you go downstairs. Noone wants to see you in your tighty whiteys.

I'm cursed as a super early riser. I get up every day between 4-4:30. I haven't used an alarm in years. When in someone else's home, I try to be as stealthy as I can. What I'll say is alot of it depends on the layout of the house. When I visit my elderly parents, the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor so I'll slip down to the basement, lay down on the couch and quietly watch TV.

Before they passed in my inlaws house, I'd go to the front room and mess around on my phone as the TV room was close to a couple of bedrooms.

If in a hotel or condo while traveling I might slip out and take a walk or hang out in the lobby. Just because I'm not a good sleeper, doesn't me I need to steal anyone else's sleep.

There's no right answer because it depends on the relationship, the other guests, the home itself, etc.

I wake up naturally around 7:45. I like about half an hour on my phone to dick off and then I’ll emerge.

Not often anyone’s house guest anyway. And when I am, it’s Jones’s parents and he sleeps until like 9-10 himself so I’m still good. None of us eat breakfast. Makes me feel sick eating in the morning.

I would ask discreetly that evening what time to help with breakfast if that is a planned meal. Communication is not hard.
