He can now say that now that he as $200 million in the bank from big donors like Ken Griffin who probably thought there was a good chance DeSantis would run in 2024. (Remember the state of Florida has no campaign contribution limits...federal election do. He will carry those donations under state law to run for president in 2028 via superpacs.)

Very definitive. DeSantis is every bit as smart as we on this Board suspect. This Nation will be on fire in '24, why would any aspiring rational individual/politico want that in their lap?
