Rescues can catch free roaming cats prior to the storm in a lot of cases and foster them until the storm passes (even evacuate and bring them back).

I feel like it's the sort of thing that chooses you. You don't intend to wrestle the alligator naked while high on meth, but somehow there's just a methpipe in front of you and you do what has to be done.

Well rather drop money on dropsondes than the billions weve wasted in ukraine

That money could also pay to rebuild all hurricane damage from last decade
