Being Chicago he will be found guilty.
Shooter should have said something to make the puncher come at him again and then shot him so he would have had a better self defense argument

I’d like to see more video prior to the sucker punch.
Did they have no interaction prior?
Any chance the shooter called the shootee the word they cannot be called?
That will be alleged at trial regardless if it happened or not.

Shooter's life was not in danger when he was just standing there minding his own business. One person changed that and he is laying in a pool of blood.
Had the POS not been shot, he would still be walking around doing the same shite. Even if caught would probably not see jail time for hitting a person.

I have to believe there is more to the story prior to the SP. But we may never know. So many things are reported now for shock value and zero investigation. This will be divisive and that's how they want it.

It has to change or people will go around continuing to do this shite. If that guy would have sucker punched your wife or mother, I would like to know how the people blaming the shooter would respond. I would bet half my worth that was not the first person he sucker punched. At least it will be his last. He got exactly what he deserved.
As long as the country does not punish the criminal population, you should be able to protect yourself. In any means necessary.

I sat at the hospital bed of a friend while he was on life support and consoled his fiancee and mother after they had to pull the plug on him. All this was after one cheap shot leaving a bar that knocked him out and busted his head open on a curb. He never woke up. Witnessed that from about 6 feet away.
