They had to have had some reason to test, an accident,stumbling, etc. Can’t just pull you aside and decide to test.

Lol, yeah, people are bitter. For as much as people like to shite in white collar jobs on here, I haven’t met anyone yet who isn’t a jealous little bitch of our 3 months of paternity leave

Very interesting opinions in this thread.
I can tell you that I have never heard of paternity leave. Not with my job, nor with any of my friends jobs. Good for you, I guess.
When my first was born, I was bored stiff and working from the hospital. As soon as the wife was home,I went back to work to be sure they had no stress about money. Not hating the OP, just different mindsets.
When my second was born (in Dec 08) I hunted more that season than I ever have. In laws were spending too much time at the house and there was no need for me to be there. And you don’t ever refuse help with kids. That help goes away quickly.

Do you have a history of call outs prior to this? How long have you worked there before going out on leave? Is there a particular coworker that just doesn't like you?
2 weeks doesn't seem like a particularly long vacation, but someone that repeatedly calls out/makes a nuisance of himself with being late/slow, is just one bad day away from being fired.
