Who in the frick wants to stay home with a Postpartum wife and a new born baby for 6 months?

It depends. If the baby was born in early October, in which case paternity leave coincides with the opening of bow season, you’d be retarded not to take leave.

True but you wouldn’t actually be staying home during that whole time.

You loud cap the frick out of the other worker.

Explain in front of everyone that the other worker is a cheese eating rat and so when anyone else works around that person, be careful because they will run to management to try and get you fired just cause

No one is gonna work with that person. It will fix itself

Same. Only rule was don't get wasted behind the bar. When it was busy I didn't have time to get drunk.

I didn't get the chance to exercise it, but plenty of others around me did.

Paid 100% salary and benefits to stay home with their family. Smart to take advantage of it. One guy captured 3 AWS certifications when he was away, which gave him a significant promotion when he got back.

Aren't experienced bartenders in pretty high demand these days in most places? Tell em to screw off and go find another gig.

No, paternity leave is not mandated by law. Family medical leave is, but it doesn't apply to any company with less than 50 employees. Not knowing which bar this guy works for they probably don't have that many unless it's a chain.

They want to get rid of you. Most bartenders are assumed to have drank on the job at some point for some reason (sometimes they'll take a shot with a regular, sample a cocktail, etc).

its like firing a salesman for a questionable expense report. Its an excuse to get rid of you.

Immediately find another bartending gig, they're everywhere.

Yeah, but I had been drinking. Good thing it was with the owner of the company tho. So I just smiled and went to take a nap in my office. Felt like Don Draper that afternoon.
