Of course. It is just another example of the semantic game of two sides picking the terminology that they think presents their views in the best light. Fetus vs baby. Riot vs protest. Etc.
Once again, fence sitting doesn’t make you sound intelligent, Hank.

It isn’t a semantics game when both sides used the same term until one side realized the optics were not what they thought.

The fact that I have to even explain this is depressing.

Geez.

Kamala Harris aide-turned-MSNBC host pleads: Don't call FBI Mar-a-Lago search 'a raid'

MSNBC are the ones who changed the chyron in the middle of a segment to switch from "raids" to "executes search warrant at" because the guy being interviewed, Former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi said “agents, by the way, don’t like the word raid, they don’t like it. It sounds like it’s some kind of, you know, extra judicial non legal thing. It’s the execution of a search warrant. It’s a court authorized search warrant."

Personally, I think that some folks are letting their substantive opposition to the warrant itself (which is understandable) color their description of the manner in which it was executed (which is emotional).

Like something like, you know, 50+ agents, kind of like fanning out through someone's home unannounced, without like letting his lawyers oversee anything?

two sides picking the terminology

Oh really? Why dont you tell us what the correct and most typical terminology defining a 30 man unit of armed FBI agents forcing their way into a private residence unannounced and ransacking it?

You know, since "both sides" are just picking terminology.

Ahh the talking points are out!

Talking points are an amazing thing. I was following comments on twitter, and like clockwork you could tell when word went out via whatever means they use.

Trump appointed the FBI Director! Within seconds, there were dozens of posts citing the same fact, as if it was relevant.

Propaganda speed in the time of social media is staggering.

correct. Its being called a raid because thats what it is, and its what these things have always been called.

the regime is literally out there trying to convince its own loyalist media to use a different word.

The only people playing semantics is the regime.

It isn’t even “playing semantics” when every person used the same term and one side switched because of optics.

That isn’t semantics.

It is blatant partisan politics. That is it.

Hank knows that. He just believes being non-committal on anything is a sign of intelligence.

The best part is that, in his attempts to be nonpartisan, he is being clearly partisan.

Apparently, he can’t see that either.

It is extremely ironic.

The media are solely to blame for what the country has devolved into.

if they were doing their jobs, not even the politicians could get away twith the crap they are doing. The population would be a lot more informed of the truth and will make the right decisions.

But now - with 3 g3nerations of increasing levels of pure propaganda 24/7, there are very few people left with a reasonable knowledge of the truth, and less of an intellectual background to evaluate it.

We have generated a nation of welfare layabouts - who can only work off their frustrations by criminal activity - all with the blessing of the political leaders who benefit from the unrest, and supported to an every increasing degree by the media who started it all and are profiting from it.

Trump Is Characterizing This As A ‘Raid’

There's a fricking NYT article that's hours old calling it a raid.

This is stupid.

Notice there are always "experts" immediately available to the leftist media to keep the narrative and shuck going.

Best example ever was during all that trouble Billary was having and was staring down Impeachment, the protective press had "constitutional scholars" coming out the woodwork day after day, seemingly at every news break.

Every one of them expressing an interpretation of The Document that was favorable to him.

Propaganda pounded repetitively into the populace is effective, but it still works best among those who want to believe what it's pushing.

on target.

Unfortunaely as well, the need for explanation mirrors the lack of real intellect and logic in the paralegal.

So many times he has revealed he is nothing but low-brow with as fancy a speaking style as his pea brain can muster.

IOW, a real dumbass

The "Experts" (bwaahaa -- chyeah right) aren't apparently at CNN, Yahoo, MSNBC, HuffPo, lunatic Left MSM etal.

They are ALL BOASTING about the "TRUMP RAID".

THE one language genie the Media/Goob won't be able to suppress or shove back into the bottle is: "TRUMP RAID".

How long until ‘a group of 1,000 raid experts have written a letter detailing how this was not a raid’?

right. the bloodthirsty authoritarians are all beating their chests over their "raid", until the regime comes along and clumsily tries to get them to stfu because voters dont like bloodthirsty authoritarians.

Yes, TOP Men all agree…

Anytime you show up with a boatload of armed federal agents and their weapons are drawn, it’s a raid. More so when it’s at a secured home of a former president with Secret Service already in place.
