I'm guessing there's some kind of story behind this. It's unusual for someone to be struck by a car and killed.

he really need to add this?

I honestly don’t get it. It reminds me of the Washington Post headline when Marty Schottenheimer passed away. “Marty Schottenheimer, NFL coach whose teams wilted in the postseason, dies at 77.”

I've usually liked Schefter but he's definitely had his head in his arse the last few months on Twitter.

He's been exposing how much of a mouthpiece for agents he is but the weird thing here is he clearly added that part in because there's no way his agent would've framed Haskins' death that way.

Yeah but he quickly realized how inartfully worded it was, deleted and reTweeted without the embellishment.. and the Twitter mob is acting like Adam Schefter HIMSELF killed Dwayne Haskins…. It’s ridiculous, people make mistakes, as long as they acknowledge them and dont keep digging it isnt the end of the world IMO .

Not confirmed it's him but a 24 year old man was hit and killed by a dump truck in Fort Lauderdale.

Why would a person, like Haskins, be walking on the interstate at 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning?

I can understand if he had vehicle trouble, but I can't understand why a person like him wouldn't use his cell phone and wait to the side, away from harm's way.
